| Comments: | Just wanted to say somthing about the quote from Douglas
Adam's. I don't think its one or the other. I think the answer is both-and then some. I have finally, with a lot of help, come to the realization I seem to fall under the category we choose to call Shaman. I have since infancy. First came the frontal lobe Epilepsy and the ensuing visual and auditory "hallucinations" (Among the Hmnong in Laos, their word for epilepsy is "the spirit grabs hold of you and you fall down." This is a sign of ensuing spiritual manifeststions. Then came the lucid dreams, and the "Visions" and my Helper guides and all the rest of the trappings. Of course I had no one to talk to about this. After what can only be called a spiritual crisis, I was coaxed by family (now accepting of my strange behavior) into meeting with someone and start reading. Side Note: Add Talking to your list of cures. Anyhow, I had to learn to ground myself and dispel energy which had built up to dangerous levels, and resulted in a period of 12 hours that I have no memory of. However, my guides/friends were there apparently. I still have much to learn. So very much. I need to learn to let the energy flow. I need to learn a whole new discipline. essentially I'm like a big puppy that lets off huge blasts of energy in the form of Prophecies, Going to what I call the "Way Station", and taking on the pain and fear of those about to cross over. Also, much chaos comes from this lack of training. One thing I wanted to add to the continuing treatise about our perceptions dterminining our reality. On a few occasions, with much focus and a rare state of mind I have been able to distort, I think, probability. The only way I can describe this state is that I merge with the object of interest. We combine "eigen States". So far results: 6 rolls of die come up with what I wanted, A little fun with a slot machine and lastly an interesting experience with a smoke detector. As we know, the smoke detector works by picking up the radio active decay of an Isotope. When this is interrupted by smoke, the circuit effectively breaks and off goes the alarm. Well, knowing that radioactive decay is random and prone to the laws of probability. I did my little merging trick. As I breathed, I pictured the decay of the atoms, as I slowed my breathing so slowed the decay (in my minds eye). I began to notice that the red warning light was staying on longer and longer. Finally I exhaled and stopped AND THE ALARM WENT OFF. Scared out of my mind, I ripped it off the ceiling. Then began to think:hmmm, if some big lumox such as I could do this there must be others, more adept and cunning who could do or nay have done much more. Frankly, the idea that I took the universe down a path that would otherwise not have occurred scared the bejesus out of me. Yes, I think traing and help is in order. If anyone could suggest a mentor, group or anything I would be most grateful. Garth |
