I write you this note now, just one day after your grandma's funeral. I know you may not understand it now but you will someday when you are older. Your Grandma was a beautiful person who was so kind and accepting of everyone. There were so many people who came to tell her Good-bye. I know you are very sad and you will always miss her. I want you to know that the love she felt for you and gave to you is a part of you now that will stay with you for the rest of your life here on earth. She still loves you as she always has...she is just in a different place than you are. Where she is now, it is peaceful and beautiful and she isn't sick anymore. She watches over you now and her other grandchildren and children with the same attention and love she always did. You and all her family were the best part of her life. Family was so important to her and gave her life special meaning. She set a good example for all of us and will continue to impact our lives. I wish she could have been here to see you and Scotty grow and to help you in your lives in the years ahead..but I try to remember and want you to remember that you have another guardian angel now who watches over you with the greatest love and devotion.
