Comments:	Hi....Great site! I am a survivor who is a mother, now,with a husband who has punished me for being, in his view, an accomplice to insist rather than a 9 year old victim that I was. For more than 20 years, my own mother has treated me as "the other woman". Now, after 16 years of marriage and a lifetime of abuse, I want a divorce and custody of my children. My husband doesn't want to pay 29% of his income to child support, so he's fighting against me for custody based on my past experience with incest and poor parental role models. His statement says that without "good" parents, you cannot be a "good" parent. I have loved, cared and taught them in a non-abusive way. I have worked very hard to right the wrongs and forgive others. I have never touched them "inappropriately" or beaten or starved them in anyway. I am not a substance user/abuser. I have worked very hard to overcome the details of my childhood through therapy, studying, communicating with others and other spiritual venues. Does anyone have any ideas or experiences that might help me? I feel like I have been discriminated against by being a victim? Isn't there any legal protection for us? It hurts and sickens me that people would stoop this low for a buck!

I thought it was very interesting, for the actuality that when children, adults get raped, to the Kingdom Hall it is not a crime, but watching the news and seeing people get life for the same crime makes me believe that something is wrong some where. I want to know how that works and is possible, to me a crime is a crime, it doesn't matter what color, nationality, organization, union, congress, fellowship or religion you are, you do the crime, you do the time. Do any of you realize how hard it is for the innocent survivor's to have to live day by day with the thoughts of the abuse they received for no reason at all? Or how easy it is for the abuser to continue to do the crime because they are getting away with it? Jehovah is a person people praise and have much belief in, there is nothing wrong with that, but when someone says that he will help you when you get sexually abused, don't go to the cops or we need a witness that this really happened is observed. Jehovah can only see the wrong a person did but he can't physically punish that person. He does not love anyone less because of who they are or what they did. Innocent people suffer because others are getting away with murder. I am not knocking organizations but I will tell you this brain washing people with lies about Jehovah will do is politically incorrect and wrong. There are millions and millions of people in this organization don't you want to help them see that they have a better life knowing that people who rape and sexually abuse and all other crimes are being done? To try to help them all? If one does it and gets away with it others will as well. My husband's family has been hurt, betrayed and shot down as if they were a bunch of no bodies, when they spoke to the Elders at their Kingdom Hall. To which they have belonged to for 20 years and took as their "FAMILY". See the difference with this case compared to others is that it was a family thing and it happened to more than one member by just one single family member. How many all together is UN-known for that reason is they don't want to remember what a single family member did to them and how they were told that they ARE NOT allowed to tell anyone inside their congregation. There are so many I know that were also warned the same way. It had led many the people I call "My Family" to have nightmares and suicide thoughts. That is out right not fair, especially if you knew the love (this) "My Family" has and holds eachother together, more now because of what was done to them. Males and females this horrible, horrendous, terrifying thing has happened to, just because it was the easy and well-to-do to not be reprimanded, by crimes you can can do and get away from. I am not blaming the Kingdom Hall or Jehovah for this person's actions, bit I blame the Kingdom Hall for not helping these survivors heal what has been brought upon them. I joined "The Mint Green Ribbon For The Awareness Of The Abuse INC", for my mother in-law. She is a very loving, very dear to me and very strong hearted. She has been through it all and alone. For my sister in-law, I pray to GOD that she can put where it belongs and I will try my hardest to help her but only after her molester gets what he deserves, till then her mind will not be at piece. She now has children and her oldest is a seven year old female, and I can bet anything that my sister in-law is now even more afraid with her children/child cause she was around the age when it happened to her. And for the rest of her family whether it has happened to them or not they have been through enough knowing what has happened to the people they love. Trust me the "Kingdom Hall" pushed away a wonderful family, astonishing, phenomenal, sensational, caring and objecting family. But in their hearts they still have Jehovah and his love. They still pray to Jehovah and have never been let down and is still expected by him. Some day they will all be at peace as well as me and millions more out there, Thanks to Jehovah for not dis-fellow shipping them. I have just one more closing question before I end my thoughts, what is it that you call your selves? A congregation, a society? Of what? SEXUAL ABUSE? This is my own personal experience, whether or not this makes a difference to any of you, it will someday soon to someone else. people need there closure and need to feel secure, the Kingdom Hall don't give that as they pose to. They give out more grief and hurt as if we the innocent people say here take my bag and rob me, or here rape me. Innocent people should not have to suffer any more, And they won't! Comments:	My daughter who is now 13 was sexually touched by her real dad twice. Once in the summer of 1999 while on a road trip with her( he is truck driver)and once in the summer of 2001 and I was doing laundry with this happened. He is denying that he ever touched her, saying that she has a good imagination, that it never happened, that she must have dreamed this all up, saying the she misunderstood him. Has said the reason I accused him was because I must have been having mood swings and needed to get my mind straighten out. Refused to go into counseling saying that he didn't have the problems, that my daughter and I were the ones who had the problem. Saying that my daughter doesn't know the truth from a lie. Do girls who are 10, 11, 12 make things up like this? I believe her but when its your own husband that has touched the child you had together, its hard to believe it really happened.
