| Comments: | Well, turkey day is done. I'm sure you have your holiday tales. Let's see where to start with mine.
Mom and dad's house, all of their offspring at home, me and my three sisters and our families. Well, we had 3 cranberry salads, 3 turkeys, enough food for 50 people (lets see we could have cloned all of us 3.2 times and still had plenty). Cakes, pies, salads.... ugh just thinking about it all now makes me not want breakfast, lunch or dinner today. An interesting day of conversation. Let me recall a few. Yes, with 4 sisters, with nieces and nephews, some married, some single it was bound to happen sooner or later. One boyfriend got introduced by the "wrong" name. Oh yes, it happened. But we all got back to normal once all the blushing by my niece and the apologies were made. Then of course, we hit the "hot topic" of menopause and hot flashes. We decided that between us we could simultaneously heat Oak Hollow Mall. Well it's Friday morning and I'm home. Even though I'm up by 4 a.m. I'm not one to go shopping at 5 a.m. How do people do that? I want to see what I'm buying and that's hard to do when the eyes are not focusing yet. And don't buy my present this morning either. It might end up hot pink and I'm not a pink kind of person. Just get me some great coffee and I'll be tickeled pink, and that's close enough.
