I stumbled across your site because I was looking for information on the Neuhoff Meat packing plant. My grandfather worked there in the 40's, his name was Joe Nanez. I was wondering if you knew him while you worked at Neuhoff. I don't know what his job was but I do know that he left there to join the war in 1944 and was killed in Nov of '44. Anyway.....he had a friend who also worked at Neuhoff, it was a woman, a white woman who was a "knockout" but she only had 1 arm or a shortened arm, who knows some kind of arm disability. She was there in 1943-1944, and was only about 17 at the time. We are looking for people who knew her and him. If you can remember anything or knew the name of the woman it would really help me. Now as for the dog the dogs,well you are in my part of the world. I have always had a dog in my life,i now have a sheltie,they are great dogs also well at least mine is. I like talking about dogs,and hearig you talk about them was very nice and interesting,I also lost a dog to cancer,and it was very sad. Oh I didn't tell you I use to train my own dogs for obedient shows,but not any more,getting on in age just like a dog,to old to jump over a high jump.
