Comments:I was pregnant and a month ago I lost my seven months old lillte girl Arianne. One day, and suddenly my husband told me that I was pregnant and that the baby were I gilr. I got surprise because I had problem to get pregnant and we did not know that I was. Since I got pregnant I received so many signal about the special of my little angel, once I was in the beach with my husband, I got into the water and a sea start approached to me while I was getting away from it. Few minutes later, I finally touch the sea start and then it got away to the deep sea. When my little angel was dead, the Doctors told my husband that they did not have any explanation, so my baby condition was just healthy, and she look so beatiful, as sleeping when the doctors showed my baby to my husband. A month later, my husband has been dreaming with my litlle angel, and although I am deeply sad, I know God sent my angel to us to provided her with our love and care, for take her as an Angel We are know praying to God to send us another child, an Angel to stay with us.

God Bless my Angel Arianne!!

Comments: I came across you story in The Repository today and took the time to read EVERY entry and story in your guestbook.
My heart goes out to every family that has lost a child. While I do not personally(as a mother) know the pain and heartache(thank GOD) of losing a child i was with my best friend when she had to delive her little angel TORY NICHOLE on 11/17/95 at 20 weeks gestation... we where both pregnant and due 3 weeks apart.
I held that tiny baby in my arms and could not fathom the idea that this perfect tiny little girl (1 lb 9oz, 12 in long)with 10 perfect little fingers and 10 perfect little toes and the lightest mop of blond hair was not going to be going home with us. I visit her every year on her birthday and on my daughters birthday no matter what else is going on in my life, and around holidays and various other times just to sit and feel closer to her.
My daughter who is now 11 recieved a doll when she was about 3, when asked what she was going to name her and without it ever being mentioned to her she named her TORY !
To me this validated the fact that we do in deed have an angel watching over us
We miss you little one.

Comments:I am so sorry you all had to go through what you went thru.
My only sisters baby girl, Graci Layne, was born at 23 weeks. She was 12 1/2 inches long and weighed 1 lb. 1.4 oz. She was a beautifully formed baby. She had long fingers with fingernails, dark hair, a precious little nose and mouth. She was very much alive in the womb and had an awesome heart beat. My sister had an incompetent cervix and early delivery. The hospital tried the magnisium drip to help stop the labor but nothing seemed to help. My sister labored for approx. 15 hours with contractions about every three min. Graci was born April 5, 2007 and lived for two minutes. We all got to hold her, kiss her and tell her goodbye. But how devastating. I pray everyday for God to be with my sister and her husband. Graci Layne was real and loved very much. Her little footprints and a picture of Graci is framed and displayed in their living room and in mine too. I am proud to be called Graci's Aunt.

Comments:I was only 14 weeks pregnant when I got into a small accident. I wasn't injured or even bumped, but I had an urgent feeling that I needed to visit my OB-gyn. I did go and they couldn't find the baby's heartbeat. They did an ultrasound to make sure, and they found that the baby had indeed died. I delivered my son, James Dylan on April 5th. He was my first child.

Comments:Please keep us all in prayer. We are new to this site we lost 2 twin girls. When we found we was pregnant we was very happy and found out in Jan.07 that we was having twins. After I went into the hospital on the 26th. of Jan 07 and taken the flu shot I went down hill and never regain the strength. I went into labor at 4:30am and they couldn't stop it, the first was born at 11:04am and the second one was born at 11:05am., the lived 11 1/2 hours then I got the call they had taken a turn for the worse by mother and husband got to see them have breath but I saw them after. This is the first time that I ever had to bury a child but with the help of family and friends and this site I am able to take it one day at a time. We all have little angels watching. God Bless you all and we can support each other. Thank you for letting me tell you about our twin girls which we named Kendra and Kenisha.

Comments:I have delivered by C-section 3 kids but only one is with me know. I lost a baby girl Remington Jane on July 4th 2002 for a reason no one can explain. She was 31 days old and just died in her sleep. SIDS was ruled out. On March 29, 2006 I had a baby boy Brad JR he was 4 weeks premature and had a hard time breathing, he fought for 5 days and then his heart stopped. I have a beautiful little girl makayla who is 3. I had my tubes tied during brad jr's c-section if I had known he wasnt going to live I would not have done it. Makayla doesnt understand why her baby brother cant come home to her and it breaks my heart. she asks about him daily. the holiday's are especially hard. I miss both my babies terribly. In memeory of both my angel babies

Comments:I was 20 weeks pregnant when I went in for an ultra sound. We were so excited, hoping to find out the sex of the baby but I immediately knew something was wrong. The look on the nurses face had it written all over her. She called my doctor and stuck me and my husband in a small room for a half hour til the doctor came to say the heart had stopped beating! I was so confused and scared. We just had a checkup 2 weeks prior and everything was fine. After I delivered my little angel, I held him for a while and then they took him away for testing. The doctor couldn't tell me anything that was wrong...he said it was an act of God.

Comments:This is a beautiful site. We lost our second born son Max on July 31, 2006. He was not due until October 30th, but preterm premature rupture of the membranes caused me to enter the hospital on July 7th. I had little amniotic fluid left, but we did not go into labor. The staff at University Hospital, Macdonald House took excellent care of myself and my little one until I went into labor naturally on July 28th. Max was born at 3:20 a.m. I was thrilled to have my second boy! He was beautiful, breathing on his own but so small at 26 weeks and five days gestation. He weighed 2 pounds and 2 ounces and was thirteen inches long.
Unfortunately Max contracted e-coli sepsis, then menengitis and developed a massive ventricular hemorage. He was just too small and precious for this cruel earth. I miss him everyday and pray he knows how much mommy loves him. Continue the wonderful work, it is so important that people know how much their little ones mean even in death.
Sincerely,
Jennifer A. Dell

My husband and I are having a hard time coping with the loss, but we realize that life does go on. We had so many plans for our little miracle, but we know now that God had other plans for him. Noah Alexander Woods was born on October 15, 2005 at 3:30 am. We lost him before we ever knew what he looked like or held him. That is why I almost lost it when I found your site. Comments:We have lost two babies, the first being our little girl Laura Ruth who was stillborn, the second was our son Ethan Luke, he was born premature and lived in special care for three months before we had to 'let him go' due to severe complications. We have been told it would be unwise to try for another child which was devastating news for us.
We think of them both all the time, we have their pictures on our wall which some people find morbid but if they can't deal with it then that's their problem. They were perfect in every way....i often go to their graves and sit and tell them what myself and their mum have been up to..i almost always come away in tears. Even though it has been 4 years since losing Laura and three since losing Ethan the pain is still there.....i think it always will be, but you just learn to cope with it i guess, although it's very hard to!
We will all meet again someday though......

Comments:I was 20wks preg with my 4th child on Feb 20, 2006, when I suddenly began to bleed slightly..though I felt fine...went to hospital..and they said that I was leaking amnio fluid and the baby had no heartbeat. ( I had just had a check up 3 days before and everything was fine) I had to be induced and had a little baby girl. They said the cord was twisted too much cutting off her life support. I am just heartbroken.
Living in a foreign country and dealing with this so far away from family and friends is really hard! Japanese people dont talk about things...I am just suppossed to get over it....even the doctor said that sleeping is the best thing to get over it! So much for support groups here.

I know the baby is now in the arms of our Loving God and is happy there....but my arms ache to hold her! My family and friends in the US have been great about providing prayer support...but it is hard not having anyone to talk to.
God has been my support during this difficult time!

Comments:I lost my sweet baby girl at 40 weeks gestation on November 22nd 2005. I had a uterine rupture and my angel was without oxygen. I was scheduled for an induction that day and all went well. Until At 6pm her heartrate suddenly dropped by 6:03 it was an emergency and by 6:08pm my Doctor was in the room our beautiful princess was delievered at 6:12pm sadly however in that short 12 min time frame our angel was without all she needed from her mommy. She was beautiful perfect and big (nearly 9 lbs) she had a heartbeat but never took a breath on her own. At 6:34 pm they declared our little girl dead, and with her my heart went. A part of me died that day, and I can not wait to be reunitied with her. Sadly there is no clear explanation as to why my uterus ruptured. I had never had a c-section nor a d&c,We may never know why our sweet angel had to die nor why our ability to have anymore was taken as well.

I can assure you that every feeling that you are encountering, I have encountered. After reading some of your journal entries, I hurt all over again. Because it is such a fustrating hurt, and no one,or nothing tangible, can erase the pain.
I know you are tired of hearing "she is with God",because you want her with you. But God is the ultimate healer,I know you know that. So, please trust him. And remember,"What God has for you is for you".
When your season comes, Oh Boy, you are gonna be blessed, cause guess what? your story blessed me.

Comments:I came across your website when i was looking for Dr. Adel Elhennawy. In April 2002, my grandaughter, Kierstin, was born 2 weeks late weighing 9lbs.3oz. It was a traumatic birth and she had major organ failure. It was all like a blurr when he came out and told us. There had been not complications during the pregnacy. She was just a large baby and the cord was around her neck twice, causing too much fetal stress. But God used him to save her life. Dr. Adel cared for her and would not give up.. When she was finally stable she was flown to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville Ky where she was put on dialysis. The said she had brain damage and would go home on dialysis, and have to receive a kidney transplant by age 4....if her brain damage wasn't so severe and that they would put her back on the dialysis.(They thought the site was becoming infected so they took out the tube from her stomache.) They said that was the best hope they could offer. Well....she never went back on dialysis and will turn 4 April 1st and she is nowhere near having a kidney transplant. In Jesus name...she won't!!They do keep a watch on her (every 6 months now instead of 3). Oh...and she is developmentally perfect!! She is a miracle.
Your little Dominque is just a beutiful little angel and I know that she is in the arms of the angels! We do not know why because our understanding is not the same as his. it is awesome that you would share what you have been through with others so that you may offer comfort and support. Please pray for my daughter who is going to have her second little girl on March 14th. She is going to have another large baby, but they are doing a C-section 10 days early. Thank you. My prayers are with you and all the others that have signed the guest book and may God bless each and every one of you.

Comments:I delivered my little angel on 4/30/04, she was born 24 weeks, and weighed 645 grams; The doctors told us that we had a 2% chance of her surviving, and she was doing fine for two weeks, and then on 5/18/04 she passed due to her lungs, and a bacterial infection that is common in premature babies. I wish that I could have found this web site when all of this happened, not just for myself, but for my fiance, and my three children; I have struggled everyday since then with this situation,it has really changed my life, and I can truly say that I am a person who has experienced everything in life, and what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, but what people don't seem to understand is she was my baby, she was part of my and something did take her away from me, so somedays I am strong only for my other children, and then there are days when I am weak, and thinking about what Aniyyah, would have been doing at this age, would she be okay physically, menatally, the holidays get me down, and what I have to really over come is jealousy, of seeing other parents with their babies.

I am so very grateful that we were able to at least bring a tiny bit of comfort to your family in the form of the quilt during such a difficult time in your lives. I cried as I read your letter, then sat and cried for a long time reading your website. I'm so thankful that you are allowing God to use you during your grief to bring comfort to others and to be such a blessing. God bless you and I hope we can talk soon!

Comments:Hi, I had a preemie baby girl who survived and celebrated her 16th birthday Dec 15, so never give up on hope no matter what. We were so very blessed that our child who was so sick did make it. Now as I write this, my oldest daughter gave birth to a preemie last night. His name is Dylan and he is in the NICU of the same hospital where my daughter was following her birth. Like with my baby, things don't look very positive, but like I said, don't ever give up hope. We feel, like his aunt, that he will make it to. Thanks for letting me talk about this.

Comments:ALISHA FROM OAKLAHOMA,

I ALSO HAD A BABY BOY BORN ON MARCH 23, 2005. WE WERE 36 WEEKS INTO THE PREGNANCY AND I WENT INTO LABOR. HE HAD SO MANY LITTLE PROBLEMS WITH HIS BREATHING. HE CAME INTO THIS WORLD WEIGHING 9 LBS 15.3 OZ AND 21.25 INCHES LONG. I THOUGHT THAT BECOUSE HE WAS SUCH A BIG BOY THAT HE WOULD BE OK. ON EASTER SUNDAY WE ALMOST LOST HIM. HIS LUNGS COULDENT TAKE ANY MORE PROBLEMS. THEY KEPT SHUTTING DOWN ON HIM. HE HAD TO BE SENT TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL TO RECIEVE MORE TREATMENT. I DIDN'T THINK THAT HE COULD TAKE ANY MORE. HE WAS ON A VENT. JET, NYTRIC, JUST TO NAME A FEW. HE WENT TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL TO BE PUT ON AN ECMO MACHINE (HEART AND LUNG BYPASS) BY THE GRACE OF GOD HE MADE A TURN AROUND AND STARTED TO GET A LITTLE BETTER. IT WAS HARD TAKING CARE OF MY 2 YEAR OLD AT THE SAME TIME ALL OF THIS WAS GOING ON. HE FINSLLY CAME HOME 1 MONTH LATER WHICH WAS THE DAY BEFORE MY 2 YEAR OLD TURNED 2.
MY SON IN NOW 7 MONTHS OLD AND WE JUST FOUND OUT THAT HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO UNDERGO SOME PHYSICAL THEROPY TO HELP HIM. THIS IS VERY HARD TO TAKE BECAUSE I THOUGHT WE WERE PAST ALL THAT. I AM SO SCARED THAT HE WILL HAVE LONG TERM EFFECTS DUE TO ALL THE CIMICALS THAT WERE PUT INTO HIM. AND BECAUSE THERE IS NO DIAGNOSES FOR WHAT IS GOING ON I HAVE NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS. I AM TRYING TO GET SOME IDEA OF WHAT WE COULD BE IN FOR LONG TERM.

I am so proud of you all. The Walk-a-thon was a hit! I had such a good time. My feet still hurt. Nevertheless, you did such a wonderful job and I truly believe that awareness for the cause has been raised. The commercial for the walk-a-thon was just beautiful. If I had not been there myself, I would have thought a professional actor had done it. God is blessing you and the ministry. Remember, "be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,... for ...your labor is not in vain. I am looking forward to even more upcoming events.

My husband and I have to decide when to take our son off the vent. His poor little lungs are worn out. After numerous surgeries his entire body is tired. This decision is the hardest thing we've ever had to do but we know we have to do what's best for our son not us. We know he will go to better place where he can breath and play with the angels. We love him very much. He has made us better people.

Comments: This site is a god send. I've been grieving for along time. It all started about 5 years ago when I had my first miscarrage, then my second and third, forth, and fifth all over a 4 year period. Finally during my fifth pregnancy they discovered I had a Bicornate Uterus that was septated, so I underwent a Laperoscapy, Hysteroscopy and a year later was pregnant again I was so carefull I bled on and off the whole pregnancy and on may 2, 2004 gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Jackson. So I was thinking finally I'm normal again I can have more. 5 monthes later ( a little sooner than planned) I found out I was pregnant again. The pregnacy went great til 23 weeks when I started contracting followed by bleeding but I thought "I shouldn't think much of this I bled almost the whole pregnancy with Jackson" but I was wrong Isaac was still born on Feb 20th at 400 grams. He was just over the hospitals wieght limit to help take care of him so I started funeral arrangements. Which was a week long nightmare, so soon after loosing him. I miss my little angel and am glad I have my son ( my living angel) to help me through my grief everytime I look at Jackson I think how truly luck I am! I am now Pregnant again and Doctors are keeping a very close eye on things.

It is a rollar coaster, i remember i would go in on day and there stats were great, then i would go in to find out one of mu daughters had a sever blood infection. Bethany had heart surgey at 1 lb 10 oz and was palqued with constant infections. They told me she is not strong enough to pull through, that between the surgery and infections, her body can not heal itself.Olivia steadly paced along. From the CPAP, to the canulia... We did Kangaroo-care, breast milk, books, songs. Anything that would let them know who Mommy was. It is a time I play in my head over and over as I watch them play and grow. They just turned 2 years old. There is not a second that does not go by that I do not thank God for the blessings in our lives. Because of them, I am a better person, better mother, and have a deeper love for my childern then I ever thought possiable. Thank You for being brave .

Comments:I also found your site through the Repository article and want to say "thank you" for your amazing energy and enormous heart! Dominique is blessed to have such a great mother and father and family - and you are blessed to have her, even in your heart. When I read your story, memories flooded over me...in a different way. My little girl, Katie Marie, was born on March 5, 2002 and her angel day is June 28, 2002. She was a victim of SIDS. Thank you for including SIDS survivors in your group. At the time of her death, other than my family and friends (who are the best ever) I didn't have any luck finding a local in-person group support for infant loss. I was told by one counselor that my loss might not be viewed as "significant" in her group because she was so young and I didn't get to spend my life with her. (What NOT to say to a grieving mother.) Needless to say, that was my last conversation with that person and it put fear in my heart to talk to anyone outside my family. After that, I found support on the web. You can visit her web page in the Heaven's Nursery at www.sidsfamilies.com. Once again "THANK YOU" for including SIDS - our area certainly needs people like you to help us through the biggest challenge of our lives. God Bless you and everyone who has experienced the death of a child - whether it be through miscarriage or other situations. Our babies mean everything to us!!

There were some moments where we thought they might not make it but they are healthy 5 year old girls. I know that premature babies are truly fighters and it sounds like Dominique fought until the very end.I don't know the kind of pain that you are going through as I have been blessed with 3 healthy kids. Comments:I just finished reading the Repository article about Dominique. This series about premature babies has been very good. I have read them all so far. Today as I started to read, I started to cry. I lost a child when he was 21 & now nine years later I cannot think about him w/o crying. The pain is intense & the hurt is deep. My heart ached with the Foxx's as I read what they went through with their little girl. When my son was 2, he had an aneurysm & almost died. We went through a long, serious surgery & many days in the hospital. I have wondered many times why God allowed him to live then but took his life from us 19 yrs. later. Losing a child is an unimaginable loss, no matter how old they are. Nothing can fill the void. I admire Mrs. Foxx for the work she is doing for the awareness of premature babies. There is also a group called Compassionate Friends that is a help for parents who have lost children. I wish God's blessings on this family & the work that Mrs. Foxx is doing.

Just the thought of having a baby after trying for three years was wonderful. I saw this pregnancy as a gift from GOD. I want to be angery but my sprit will not allow me to for I know that GOD does not make any mistakes.

Comments:I too lost my sweet angel, Laiken Riley Madison Kale. She was born at 24 weeks on September 15th, 2002 due to an emergency c-section to save my life. I was suffering from severe HELLP syndrome (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, low platelets) and my blood pressure was skyrocketing. She was 1 lb. 1 oz. and 11 1/2 inches long. She was perfect-and so beautiful, but here tiny lungs were just to premature to help her live outside of my body. They were not successful in intubating her and she only lived 1 1/2 hours. We were simply devestated. I have two older children (daughter-Arianna now 8 1/2 and son- Jarod- now 5) as well as a son born after her, Gavin-almost 2. They miss their sister and talk of her often. We try to keep her memory alive and to let others know what an important person she is to us. It has almost been three years since my sweet princess was here in my arms, but not a day goes by that I don't think of her and long for her to be here. I look forward to the day that I can hold my angel again...My heart goes out to all of the other people who have lost their babies- it is something no one should ever have to face. Comments:We are posting because we just lost our tiny baby girl. Her name was Isabella Alecea, and she was born April 13, 2005. She was 25 weeks gestation, and was 1 lb 12oz and 13 3/4 inches. She was a fighter and fought as hard as she could. Unfortunately her body was not capable of fighting as hard as her spirit wanted. She passed away on May 19, 2005, after being held by Mommy and Daddy for over two and a half hours. Thanks so much to her Aunt Chrissy for sharing this site with us! Isabella truly became one of God's Tiny Angels.

Comments:I understand the pain associated with so many miscarriages! It is deep and dark. God brought us through 4. Finally, we decided that it was more important to us to parent a child than to give birth to a child. We adopted two precious new-born boys in the same week in 1999!! They immediatly became the joys of our lives. Then, in 2000 I became pregnant again and delivered a healthy, full term girl in December. I can confidently say that the love I have for each of my children - no matter how I got them - is equal and boundless! I would encourage anyone who is having difficulty carrying a baby to consider the miracle of adoption. Be prepared to be swept away in the joy!

Comments:On March 17th 2004 my little grandaughter was born at 24 weeks. She lived for only 2-1/2 hours. I spent at least
2 of those hours with her. She weighed only 478 grams.
she seem to be so perfect. She was fully formed, had hair,
opened her little mouth and yawned. She never opened her eyes though. I think if I had seen her eyes I would have
fallen apart. God had other plans for this little angel and
He called her home. A year later and the pain is still there. I wouldn't have wanted to go through what you did.
I praise God for giving my daughter and myself his Blessings, so that we can move forward

Comments:My little granddaughter Tatum Lynn Clark was stillborn on April 27, 2005. My heart breaks for my granddaughter and I miss her so much though the only involvement I had with her was feeling her kick in my daughter's stomach. I loved her so much and I will miss her every day. But I know Jesus will take much better care of our baby than we ever could and for some reason God wanted her home so she did not have to live in this broken and imperfect world. But I know because of my faith in God and my personal relationship with His Son, I will see our baby Tatum one of these days and be with her and Jesus for ever. That is my hope and my dream. My heart goes out to the people who have lost children and also the grandparents. God Bless

Healthy no complications...she tried to come early but, the dr put me on bedrest. My second pg ended in miscarriage because I was put on a med to treat cat scratch fever and it was too strong, we were not for sure if I was pg or not until the next week. My third pregnancy, Macy Raven Darlene S. was born still 11-30-03. Due to an infection in the placenta and umbilical cord. My 4th child was born Jan. 10th 2005, she was born to us 5 weeks early HEALTHY and HAPPY! I thank god for all of my miracles!

Comments:My little brother Marc was a cleft pallet preemie. I was nine when he was born and remember how tiny he was and all the surgeries he went through, all the mechines, the meds, certain visiting times, how sometimes we couldn't see him at all. I remember what it was like to see him hooked up to breathing monitors everynight because he was unable to do ito n his own. I remember how the hospital told us we were lucky to bring him home but the luck may run out and not to risk anything. It scared me to death.I am now 17 years old, Marc is 8 and doing so much better. Our luck did not run out and now I've decided to become a NICU nurse myself to try and help someone else's little brother/sister or child recieve the same care my little brother did.

There are still far too many people today who are not familiar with the miracle that is kangaroo care! Thank you for sharing your story...in spite of the pain it must have caused you. I have identical twin daughters,Audrey and Bethany, born at 25 weeks gestation. We knew fairly early on that God's hands were apon these girls-so many times they were expected to die. Now,here we are,14 months into their life and blessed with bright, energetic, happy, healthy babies. On days when I am feeling complacent about our journey to this point,I visit sites like yours...and fall down on my knees and pay homage to our Lord whose will it was that our beautiful daughters should live.

Comments:I just read the stories on this page and my heart goes out. my first daughter was almost born at 27 weeks but thankfully the lord watched over us at she was born a healthy 7lbs 7ozs. My second daughter was a preemit though and weighed only 5lbs 5ozs. Although she was not as tiny as some of these babies it still was hard becasue she never seemed as healthy as my first. She is now 18 months but is still small for her age but is hitting developmental targets pretty well. I'm now 12 weeks pregnant with my third child and the doctor has already warned me that I have a 95% chance of having preterm labor and a 75% chance of having another preemie baby. i read some of these stories and it scares me to see what could happen but it makes me feel better to know that there are others out there that have been through it and are there to talk to when the going gets rough. God Bless.

Comments: WOW! Thats what I think when I see what God has done in your life. Everytime I see you on the computer I just shake my head and say to myself "Man, she is something else!" I probably get a little jealous because you spend more time on the computer working than you do with me " Your Husband." But than I think about how sincere you are and how your HEART goes out to everyone who has experience what we've gone through. I mean to really think just a year ago where we were at in our lives and now where God has brought us! You can't but give "Him" Praise!!! To see how God use's you is awesome and a blessing. I know I could of just told you everything that I just got done writing or I could of probably emailed you, but me keeping it private between you and me wouldn't be the testimony that God would what me to give. Our Lord, and Savior deserves all the praise and glory. Godbless you sweetheart. I'm glad God put you in my life!

You are a living, breathing example of "Living Your Strength" through faith in God. You have shown how stepping out on faith, allows God to use you to discover your God-given talents to inspire your community. Continue to choose God's way so that you can serve, inspire, and support others. Continue to proclaim Him and see how His Spirit grows in you. Continue to act on the words of the song as you sing "Order My Steps".
2 Corinthians
3:5
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
3:6
who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit;* for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Comments:I'm so inspired by your story. I too have lost a child, he was born on Feb.22,1996 at 30 weeks and only lived for 2 hours. I was so sick that I was not conscoius enough to realize what was happening. After that we had another boy who was born at 35 weeks, he is almost 8 now and you'd never know he was born early. Then we had another boy, this pregnancy was as normal as could be. He was born 10 days early and he is now 6 years old and full of energy. It seemed as though each pregnancy was getting better so when I found out that I was pregnant again I felt fairly confident that everything would be okay. Then 25 weeks into the pregnancy my blood presure was high again. I was put on bed rest and in and out of the hospital. On June 20, 2001 I had a baby girl delivered by c-section. 10 weeks early, this was very scary and brought back alot of memories of when we lost our firstborn. She weighed 2lb.5oz.,was in the hospital for 10 weeks. Her biggest problem was feeding issues and she developed a blood clot from a central line in her groin area. I had to give her blood thiner by injection twice a day. Some Mothers say they could never do that but I was willing to do whatever I had to to get her home and our family back together again.(the hospital was 2 hours from home so I did'nt see the boys alot during this time) She is now 3 years old and doing great! The specialists say we are very lucky, but I don't believe in luck. We are very blessed to have three healthy children. The doctors are amazed, but I know God has truly blessed us and answered alot of prayers on our behalf. I still think of our firstborn son every day, but not with sadness, He will just always be a part of me.

Comments:In 92,93, and 94 I lost babies. After the last they said that so much damage had been done I would never get pregnant again let alone have a succesful pregnancy. In 98 a miracle happened. I was pregnant again. At 23 weeks I started labor. They managed to stop it and at 35 weeks I gave birth to a tiny boy. As a single mother the nightmare of going back and forth to the nicu for days on end was awful. The monitors and tubes were heartbreaking. And then I got to bring him home. My precious miracle. It has been a long haul. Many stays in the hospital, surgery, and he was so tiny. Twice they told me to make arrangements because he wouldnt live the night. I know that there are people who understand the pain and fear I went through. Today my son is a strapping, extremely bright 6 year old with the biggest smile and most infectious laugh I have ever heard. I pray for strength for all of you who go through the pain and suffering of loss and/or premature births.

It was a long journey for me and my family but after 4 months my daughter came home. Some say I am lucky but I say that I am very Blessed!!!We have not experienced any compilcations but every doctors appointment I pray that we come out with good news. Comments:I would just like to praise you for what you have done. In June of 2004 I gave birth to my daughter, Savannah Jo. I was only 26 weeks along when I had her. She weighed 1 lb. 10 oz. at birth. Just 2 days before she would have been 4 months old, Oct. 16th 2004, she passed away. I was a single mother. It was the roughest thing I have ever done. I held my baby girl while her heart failed and I had to make the decision to pull the life support off of her. I am just now finding out what took my daughter away from me. I do know it was a genetic lung disease. I am finding out tomorrow what it is called and what they can do to save other babies so another parent doesn't have to go through the same pain I went through. I do have to say babies are a blessing and she was and will always be my angel. I commend you for making this. I would love to keep in contact with you. It is sooo hard to go through this. My email address is above. I am deeply sorry for your loss and am very proud of you for what you have created after. I wish you the best of luck. Sherry
