 Hi Paul, found your site by mistake tonight and it brought back some good memories of the time u spent at the CAC. It was also reassuring to see you didnt write anything nasty about me (or didnt i dig in the archives enough?). i left the cac at the end of april 2005 because Joe Z thought he could run the place better than i could (for $1 a year)...oh if we could only talk...but its cool, i am glad to be out of there. all summer i renovated my house, which has been neglected during the years at the cac, and ripped off the exterior and replaced insulation and windows and doors. since november i have been job hunting and am up for a few non profit positions here in toledo, altho im expanding my search area to include ann arbor and columbus. not sure i want to stay here but its comfortable and i am getting too old to make huge changes, but if there isnt anything for me here then i accept my fate elsewhere. either way i need to make money...my savings are dipping lower each month. drop me a line sometime if you get extrememly bored and want to say hi! hope all is going well for you.

 I read many of your poems. It feels like you cracked open my skull and looked inside for some of them. Your (W)hole expresses exactly what I would say if I could ever get everything into one poem. I love most of them, though I dislike political poems in general. You have a very direct approach to expressing things.

 Thinking about you lately. Things are starting to calm down again. Tax season is over, I feel somewhat rested, DH is starting to work more evenings.

On the weekends, the kids and I have taken to watching movies. Last weekend, we watched Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events twice, The Emperor's New Groove (was on Disney Channel), The Incredibles, and Finding Nemo twice. Madison feels the need to eat popcorn every time there is a movie on. That is 6 movies in one weekend!

Anyway, I was thinking I need to get you over when we watch a movie on Sat nights. There are some things I want to see that DH has no desire to see - but maybe you would! I still want to see the SECOND Harry Potter movie, the THIRD Lord of the Rings movie, etc. [Shaun doesn't like Sci-Fi or Fantasy. He sticks to straight comedy.]

If I had the $$, we would DEFINITELY go see the new Star Wars movie! I might have to hold off for a month, though.

Anyway, I still haven't forgotten you! I read your website first thing every morning at work. On Monday's, I get 3 days worth of what you have been up to!

 Hi Paul! I think one of the worst things in life is wasted time, so I am sorry to hear that yours at the reading was. I've sat where you were sitting, and have too, on occasion, been unimpressed, so I know how you felt. I will pass on a lesson I've learned, however. You never know who the messenger is. I too am grateful for what you wrote about FHO. Even though they were my characters, Drake has written something so far beyond my expectations I can't express it here.  Woah, this site confirms to me that way more people in BG keep blogs than I would ever have guessed. Most of the ones I know of are on diaryland...including my own.
