Ditch the stupid intro’s and bring back the dramatic one that used to build to a crescendo and helped create an anticipation of what was to come for the audience. The silly intro’s do nothing but demean the quality and high musical standards of the band – you and the audience deserve better. |

Steve, the cabinets we use are the 1521z. I'm not sure that they're the current model being put out by Mackie though. I think RCF are the people making the similarly specced stuff in Italy. RCF are the original high quality Mackie manufacturers. Most modern Mackie gear is made in China now (cheaper production costs etc) and reports are not favourable. Best of luck young man. Was at the Factory on Sunday, its very decent of you to apologise for something that is very frustrating but clearly beyond your control. (Un)Luckly we put plan "B" into action and called at the Vane Arms to see Sticky Fingers, just in time to catch them packing away after a 6pm start (this was not advertised either). | Comments: | Apologies to anyone who turned out last night to see us at The Factory in Sunderland. We arrived before 6.30pm but unfortunately the venue decided to cancel the gig the previous day and failled to inform us. We waited for two hours and finally managed to get through to the 'organiser' of the gig. He then told us the news.
Pity he hadn't the sense to speak to us a day earlier and save everybody time and money. Never again. |
