Pete Peterson Thursday, September 13th 2012 - 07:53:36 AM bebop999@verizon.nety I played with you one night at Ye Little Club in Beverly Hills with singer Ann Dee. You were subbing for Richie Cernock (sp?). Her chaser music was "It Aint Necessarily So" and you went into a 6/8 and I was gassed but the leader (Maury Dell) yelled 4!4! 4! so we switched to 4/4. You were one of the best Bass Pickers I ever played with and you were a really nice guy. I LOVED Don Joham and I was saddened to hear about the saddnes in his life> He was like the "What, Me Worry" guy in Mad comics-He always had a smile and he was a great drummer at an early age. Bill Goodwin and I talk about Don a lot.Maurice Miller was a big Booster of my playing and he was a great guy. He got me the gig with Tony Ortega (Batman). I am 77 and I have Cancer, Heart Disease and Hepatitis C and Chronic Fatigue syndrome but I try to keep on keeping on.I hope that you are Keeping On also. As Willie Nelson said, "Somedays all you can do is to hang on". Peace Pete Peterson

Jeff Hogue Wednesday, September 5th 2012 - 09:57:49 PM pacj8@dslextreme.com Hi, Bill! Last time I had the pleasure of playing a gig with you was with pianist Nick Masters at a club somewhere in the Palm Springs area... Remember fighting the old ennui with the overweening Murray Arnold?!? I always chuckle when I think of the time we worked a private party with "himself" and he was dumbfounded to learn you didn't own a sportjacket. May God bless you with many more years of playing music! Jeff

Imho a very good versatile amp to have I absolutly love my Carvin amp. I'm not a beginner bass player I've been playing close to 25 years so obviously I know a good amp when I hear it. My hats off to carvin for this one

Joe Honescko Sunday, November 7th 2010 - 12:30:40 PM honescko@pacbell.net Hi Bill. I just ran across your website. Congratulations for an amazing career that obviously is continuing strong in Jackson. Time has really gone by fast. I still remember rehearsals at my house and my Mom making cookies and chicken soup for the band. We were all fortunate to have the activities we did in High School. It was a great bunch of young musicians and I’m proud that I got to have a small part of the fun. I have three grandsons playing bass. I wish a could find a way for them to study with you but they’re in Dallas and Orange County so the commute to Wyoming would be tough. It’s fun to watch your continued success. Wishing you the best, Joe Honescko Washington High, 1956

Elk Thunder Sunday, October 17th 2010 - 04:40:29 AM Loudax7@verizon.net Hey Plum, Every time I try to send you an email, it comes back. Joey is concerned and Marshall says you've even cut him off and you are the one who brought him here. I think he's going to retire from teaching at the school at the end of the school year. Of course, he's an outrageous bass player and artists NEVER really retire as it is a passion. Well anyway, I need to make sure of your mailing address. You can't find mine on my website either but I plan on fixing that. It's on the albums. The purpose is to send you The Big Mountain EP. It will sell, of course because it has Joe Satriani on it, if for no other reason. You are on there with myself, Dave Hitchings and Widgeon Holland. Elk Thunder P.O. Box 450 Idyllwild, CA. 92549

Pat Hogan Friday, July 23rd 2010 - 08:01:43 AM rem284@verizon.net I played drums with you once out in front of the Booky Joint with Joe Olinghouse on guitar in Mammoth Lakes, calif. I think it was in, maybe, 1986 or 1987. Any idea what happened to Joe Olinghouse? I played drums on a lot of jobs with him while he lived here in eastern calif. A few times we had Pete Smith on bass. Mainly it was just he and I. It was fun and I miss Joe.

Joe Corral Wednesday, August 15th 2007 - 09:03:46 PM Joecorral@juno.com http://joecorral.com Dear Bill, I hope you have some recollection of having played in a flute/guitar/bass trio in the Phoenix area some time ago. I think it was a fleeting and transient time in your life, but you certainly made a wonderful contribution to the scene, small as it was at the time. I remember what a pleasure it was to make music with you. And if you have any contact with Larry Flahive, will you give him my best regards. The two of you have been among my most pleasant musical memories in all the years that I have been in this racket. Love and peace to you and yours, Joe

Nyla Bailey Monday, August 13th 2007 - 08:49:41 PM njbailey@uwyo.edu Bill, You and Paul and someone else played for Jean Garrison last October - we heard you and had the privilege of dancing to your music. We are having a get together this Friday, 17 August for the Political Science and Computer Science Departments at our home. We were wondering if you could get your musicians together to play for a while Friday - early evening. I know this is very short notice - I have spent the summer in and out of the operating room in Denver and am just now getting back on my feet. If you can pull some guys together - what would the charge be for say - 6:30 - 9:00? Please let me know. You can reach me at home 742-3241 or on my cell 399-4801. Your music is wonderful and we really enjoyed listening and dancing. Thanks, Nyla Bailey
