I got up one morning and as I was walking down the hall to the bathroom I felt a black coverage over me, by the time I hit the living room, I fell down, I could not use my arms or legs, I was having difficulties breathing, my husband found me on the floor, I could hear what he said, but could not answer. The abulance came and I couldn't talk to them, I heard them say I had no BP or oxgene level, little did they know as they were saying this I saw this beautiful white light in front of me, I did not see God, my children, nor my Mother, just a light that was so peaceful, I thought I must be dying!! My thoughts were on this light, I felt if I am this isn't so bad at all, it's so peaceful, so much I tried to talk and tell the EMT's what was going on ,but couldn't. At the hospital I remember hearing everything that was said, then I was gone. Three hours later I awoke and could talk and move,I had thought going to the hospital I must be having a stroke . I had a brain scan, no signs of stroke, my lungs and heart were scanned, no clots or problems.Ok what happened to me ?? I was told I was dehydrated, but with the people who pray for me, I do believe I did have a stroke and God healed my brain that no signs of it showed. I am so Thankful to God for giving me this healing in his son's name . For a Christian we don't die, we just go home to our Lord, and what I saw and felt it was so peaceful for me, it was ok if I went . But, God must have a reason to keep me around and tell this story Iris and Tamara, thank you for a beautiful page as all are, loved the music, and Jesus I'm so thankful you love me so much, more than my Love for you .I humble myself before you and Thank You Dear Lord that I'll be with what family I have to praise your name on Thanksgiving and always. Please pray for Tamara and Iris and her list of people, you'll never know one may have prayed for me too. Makes me think back to the days when there were no malls, when you had to walk outside to go to another store. For me it was in Jackson, MS. .....down town on Capitol St. The street was long, and store after store. Each store was lit with beautiful lights of all colors. Santa's on each street corner. Ho ho ho & Merry christmas filled the air.
The colors on this page, the Christmas Tree with the different colored light are so much....more Christmas looking in stead of all white lights. This is great and so much fun, but so touching. "And A Child Will Lead." A wonderful, loving, caring, forgiving, best CHRISTmas present we could ever receive. God Himself came to us, as a child all wrapped in human skin so He could live and walk among us. To live as one of us, to suffer for us, to die for us so we might live. Yes and "He" tells us, "A Child Will Lead The Way." Sorry to ramble on, but this page has all the excitement of the fun filled holidays and at the same time the true reason for the season. | Comments: | This was so pretty, Ladies. It was so very touching too. I have been there through storms and I thought I was going to sink but, there He was and He saw me all the way through it. Praise God for He is everything to me. Only.....
I have drifted away. I need that closeness again. Spending time with Him in the mornings like I use to, reading His word, and reaching out to Him made my days, my work seem to go much smoother. I was able to weather the storms better then cause I knew I had Him with me all time no matter what. Now...I know He is still there, but I don't allow Him to be the center of everything, I don't always turn to Him, I don't feel His presence like I use to. I use to could lift my hands and ask God to give me a hug and He would. I actually felt Him all over my body. From the tip of my toes to the tip of my head. I felt Him all over me. Oh God!... what a precious feeling. Nothing like it. I have grown apart from Him now. I know He is still there. I just don't let Him rule my life anymore. I know this is wrong, and I am forever sorry about this. I know I got to get back, I know I can, I know how, but I just can't for some reason. I am so weak now. This song, this poem moved me. Maybe this is a start. I thank you both Iris and Tamara. This is truely a beautiful page and God inspired. | Comments: | This page means so very much to me, girls !!! At the time yawl sent this out I was going through a very difficult time. We buried my mother on the 4th of January. She passed away In Hospice Ministries on December 31. 2006 at 7:10 P.M. So see why this page means so much to me.I myself had a very hard time praying but, I felt and knew someone was praying for me. I know lots and lots of people were praying for my 2 sisters, my brother, and myself at this time. I know that Iris and Tamara were praying and I felt it and I just want to thank you two for your prayers and for building such a beautiful page that meant so much and touched my heart so deeply.
I read this page the day you sent it out but, I just couldn't sign the guestbook right then. I have viewed this page several times since and still wasn't able to sign it untill now. I will be visiting this page often because it is so beautiful, heart felt and it is so powerful. Every aspect of this page is awsomely done. I know that anyone that frequents this site believes in the power of prayer. So please, when you are burdened and can't seem to pray just, remember....."Someone Is Praying For "You". It's true until someone has gone through this with a love one with Alzhimer's they have no idea of the heart ache and pain that goes with it seeing their (as in my case, daddy) love one's slowly being robbed from them by the Alzhimer's, but to have their face, body, etc... to see, yet to know that they are no longer in that body.

Thank you so much for this beautiful page, you two. I needed this so much. It is just beautiful. I love the poems and the music is wonderful. I am just so sorry it has taken me this long to sigh your Dreambook. It was so very sweet of you Iris to dedicate this page to me. You two are so thoughtful. I have really had a time with my arthritis and it is only getting worse. For right now I seem to be doing pretty good due to the cortosone shots I have been getting. I have had 4 in the site of 4 weeks. I know this is only a quick fix and also what the shots can do to my liver in the end, but at my age...what the heck. I got 1 shot in each wrist and 2 in my shoulder. I now have bad tears in my right shoulder. The doctor is trying to avoid surgery but may not be able to. Same with my neck. So your kindness here and all the prayers mean so very much to me, girls. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The page was beautiful. Fantastic work. Keep up the good work. I LOVED this page, girls !!! It definitely brought some old Frontporch swinging memories back to me cause my Grandmother had one just like in this poem. We also had one too. We too shelled beans and peas AND snapped green beans while swinging. Oh man so many good memories. Also some great goodnight dates too. My mamma also had a white rocker she sat in to read, to shell beans and peas and for just setting and dreaming. I have watched my mamma from her frontporch swing as she sat in her rocker and shelled until her fingers were bleeding. Oh what I would give to sit in that swing on "her" frontporch whith her sitting in her rocking chair. Yes some very special, precious memories I just relived... thanks to this beautiful page. Poignant ??? You bet it is. It really touched me deeply. Alzheimer's Diseae is so sad. Alizheimer's and Cancer to me are the saddest of all disease. So sad I can't find the words this time, all except to say how beautiful the page was and the poem was defintely poignant, and put togther beautifully. You two work so well together. The song brought tears to my eyes. No way can I listen to it and "not" cry. I love to listen to Josh Gorban. He is fantastic. What a beautiful voice. He is so blessed with a voice like his. She has gone back to the hospital now. She left at 8:00 PM her time. It was 1:00 PM my time and I think 11:00 AM your time. It was hard hearing her go. We both cried but I think she was holding up better than I was. I won't know anything else now until they set a date for surgery. This maybe set by tomorrow sometimes. They are going to run more scans and more test on her Monday just too make sure there is no more tumors anywhere. When they meet and go over all of this with Tamara she will call me or her neighbor (Yolanda) will email me. I will let you know as soon as I hear something. It has been so very hard. But Tamara is going too beat this. She has a very good possitive attitude about it, SO thats what it takes to fight it. Right? She is also leaning very heavly on the Good Lord now too. Praise God for that. I would like to start a prayer for her. Please everyone keep our Tamara in your prayers. LIC. Father we know that You have a reason for everything that happens but we in the selfish, sinful flesh don't understand Your reasoning. You, Father are never wrong. You are in control at all times. We praise You for this. But, Father Tamara is so sick and hurting so bad and the family and friends can only think of one thing and that is for Tamara too be better, too be well "now." We don't understand why sometimes something happen the way they do. Please in the name of Jesus forgive us for our shortcomings. Father only You can really heal. The doctors can do nothing without You. With You all things are possible. Steady the hands of the doctors and the surgeon as the perform surgery on Tamara. Guide their minds , Father and when Tamara's body is healed all praise, honor and glory is Your's. Father we pray that the results form Tamara's scans and test she is about to have all come back ok. Father be with Tamara and strengthen her. Help her too know that You are right there with her. In Your word you tell us that You do not give us a body of fear but of power and strength. We are asking for that strength now, Father. Strengthen Tamara's family. Calm their fears as well. Your will be done, Father. Father Tamara's work here on earth is not finished yet. She is such a good daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She help so many people and ask nothing in return. Help us all to be there for Tamara now so we can help her. Your word in Matthew 18:20 says...Where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them. So, Father there are many people praying for Tamara. You are in our midst. We know You hear us. We are claming Your healing. We put Tamara in Your loving hands. You are the Physician, the great healer. Father You also say in Matthew 21:22...."And all things, whatever you ask in prayer, "believing". you will receive." So, Father we are asking, believing. Hear our prayers, oh Lord. Your will be done. In Jesus name we pray and ask these things. Amen. |

My elderly Mum who is now 84 is in a rest home and she is suffering from this terrible disease.
