I should say I’m a bit tired of free dating agencies with many pretty smiling faces of young European girls whom you can never reach. Yes, you can send a million of letters but you’ll never know a person in that way. To my mind that’s much better to chat online. A friend of mine has given me a link to meeting42.com. That’s also an online dating service but for a nominal charge members get a possibility to chat online, receive notices when new letters come or new members are registered and it’s possible to keep a diary or a blog there. On the site they also have a lot of interesting articles about psychology of love and marriage which can be very helpful for those who are eager to find a life partner and to get married. I really like it!

I read your autobiography about your experiences with Model A Fords .I thought I was reading about myself ! My dad and I started working on these great old cars when I was 11 . That would be in 1964. I also had a coupe , except mine was a late 1931. We found it in Barnwell ,S.C. and paid 200 dollars for it and also towed it home with a rope , I was behind the wheel of the A . But after dad and I finished restoring it , Dad sold it to buy a 1928 phaeton . So I guess it was realy my Dads coupe . Dad must have felt guilty about the sale ,he found me a 1930 deluxe roadster .It was pretty rough , it was used for drag racing in Summerville , S.C. After a year of intense work , it became my own . 35 years later , dad and I have grown apart ,but we still each have Model A Fords and we enjoy them very much . I now live in West Palm Beach , Fl. and Dad still lives in Charleston , S. C. . I want to thank you for sharing your story with us .It sure brings back found memories of a simpler time .Sincerley , Larry Buchan .

Excellent site, Larry! The HTML intro is the best I've found online so far. I'm very happy to finally know how to effect a style within a style (though that's not what you call it). I also enjoyed your picture review. Your smart humor is refreshing.

I'd been looking for useful HTML explanations of how to control the space between paragraphs using percentages, so they will scale along with the font size. They don't seem to work the way anyone explains it. Most people just say “you can do it” but don’t explain. I want the space to be a bit less, not more, than the default. Any suggestions?

Keep up the good life you clearly have going for you!

~RobRob~

P.S. That getting-rid-of-the-blemish picture project had me laughing all night long.

I'd just like to say thankyou for putting up your website with fantastic tips, I am a lowly web designer from down under (Australia), who has been having a difficult time trying to bypass the laws of the background tag for both Internet Exploiter and Nutscrape! With your guidance I have now overcome that and would just like to thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

Larry,

Have been going through old papers and came across old ZDU classes and posts. Wondered if you were still around and active. Hope so.

I was in several of the classes you took, but not very active.

Would love to know how you are as would several other classmates who now frequent the Place home of Hein and Rollie and "the bean."

I've been researching my family's roots for quite some time, we seen to be scattered all over the world, but originate in ancient England/Wales. You have a very interesting site.

I enjoyed reading aboiut your Model A adventures and wanted to thank you for sharing them with. It was worth while reading. I live in Alaska and have alway had a bug to build a Model A rod. I went to Washington and found one to bring home, so I'm in the middle of building it, now. Up here, one can only dream of finding parts in a dump! I seen you pictures and the ones you ran across in that dump look to be in Much better shape than the one I started with! So, don't take that kind of stuff for granted :-). Anyways, Thanks. Good Luck and good health to you and yours.

Thanks for taking the time to read my guest book!
