| Comments: | NOTAS SUELTAS DE LA CRONOLOGÍA FAMILIAR DE LOS ROMO DE VIVAR-RANGEL EN LA NUEVA ESPAÑA
I recently saw one of your hanging April's Angels holding a sunflower. She is a beautiful woman with with long black hair wearing a purple long dress. She looks as if she is singing. There was a little tag attached with the very same likeness of the ahgel on it. I saw it at a friend of a friend's house who received it as a gift and has no idea where it was purchased. Luckily, your name was on the tag and I was able to locate you on the internet. I am in love with that Angel and would love to know where I can purchase about 6 of them. Please let me know is that is possible. Thank you. Phyllis |

I met you last week in Santa Fe at La Fonda. I am a member of the Friends of the Creche and had traveled from Massachusetts to Santa Fe for their convention. I was with my mother and we stopped to talk to you for a bit. I love your work. I was hoping that all of it would be shown on your website but I don't see all of the pieces I saw at the convention. I would love to buy one of your nacimientos when I recoup financially from the trip to Santa Fe. Would you please send a CD/catalog to me at 8 Ashton Avenue, East Falmouth, MA 02536? It was a true pleasure meeting you and viewing your work. I pride myself on being able to pick up on people's aura and you came across as very spiritual and kind. I could have talked to you all afternoon! Barbara Sheridan Pratt Cape Cod, MA |

| Comments: | April, I was just in Scottsdale week before last and purchased 3 of your angels in a small gift shop. 2 are ornaments with ribbon hangers, which I brought back to Austin, Texas, to give to two friends as gifts. They loved them! The other is a small statuette which I kept for myself. All of the angels are very beautiful and I'm sorry I didn't purchase the ornaments for myself, too! I would have bought more statuettes had they been available. Your work is very spiritual. The figures have such a presence, almost as if they were living creatures. I am so happy to have at least one of your angels in my home. I hope someday to find them again, perhaps somewhere here in Texas. The best of luck in all your future endeavors. Liz in Austin. |

In the L.A. area there several Romo families, most of them from an area known as "Los Altos de Jalisco". This is an area of the state of Jalisco, Mexico between Guadalajara and Leon, Guanajuato. Most of the people come from Jalostotitlan(aka Jalos. My Greatgrandfather is from there. My parents are from "El Valle de Guadalupe", Jal. Most families migrated to Jal. from Aguascalientes. In Aguas. there is a town called "Rincon de Romos". I have a cousin presently writting a book on our family name. He has traced it back to, I believe, the 1500's in Spain, Portugal and Italy. I wish you all luck in your venture.Buena Suerte. Lupe Romo |

| Comments: | I just bought one of your pieces at a little shop in Tucson, across the street from Old Town Artisans. It was an angel with " Mi casa es su casa" on the front of her robe. I had no intention of buying anything but an addition to my iron-wood collection, but angel totally captivated me. Just wanted you to know she will have a place of honor in our house where she can welcome visitors. |

| Comments: | Estimable prima April.

Saludos |

| Comments: | Hello April. I just wanted you to know how much happiness
your art pieces have added to my life. I bought my first piece a little over a year ago in Tubac. It was a small angel that was laying down. I found two more smaller hanging angels a short time later at another shop in Tubac. And then several months later out at the San Xavier del Bac Mission I found three more angels - one standing with feathers in her headdress and two more large (14") hanging angels. They are so beautiful !!! I live in Tucson now and have had many visitors to my home tell me how lovely they are and of course they ask where I got them. I am glad you are on the web now. I will tell all my friends. Thank you again for being so gifted and willing to share your work. God Bless. Christine. |

you tell me where I can find your work in New Mexico and Arizona? I want to make sure I buy the real thing, and not copied rip-offs. I heard your work has been copied in Hawaii and overseas. Hope the word gets out. Hope to see more of your work online soon. Your Nativities are great! All of it's great! |
