I've known Tim since junior high school. I remember when he worked at the American Hardware during high school. He was always laughing. I remember seeing him at a local store wih an beautiful woman on each arm in the ladies section picking out unmentionables!! Tim's younger brother Ronnie and my younger brother, Lawrence were high school friends - Ronnie's son, Benjie goes to school and is a friend of my son Tyler. After reading what classmate, Brian Miller said- NOW I know what those holes were in West Gate!!! Because of those holes we would never ride our horses through there. If anyone knows if we still have a Nitro 77 website please let me know. I am now the Director of the Putnam County Animal Shelter in Winfield, WV so if anyone knows please contact me (or if you need a cat or dog). Miss you Tim and I am so sad that you have left us so early.

As the most hardcore Queen fan in the Southern Hemisphere,I offer my deepest condolences to Ellis,Tim's children, and those that called Tim their friend. It is the 5th of March,2003,Midnight in Sydney,I'm listening to Brian's acoustic guitar solo of "Another World",and I'm bawling my eyes out reading your eulogies. Being internet illiterate,I'd never heard of Tim Davis until 2 hours ago, but after reading your tributes I wish I'd made more of an effort to find out if people on the other side of the world shared the same passions that I do. I've never lost anybody close to me but having read the heart-felt expressions of devotion and love on this page,I now know what to expect when the inevitable happens. It seems to me that you were very, very lucky to know Tim.Remember what he taught you.May you all benefit from his love, and may Tim rest in peace. Yours, Richard Murphy

What can one say about Tim Davis ? he was witty, generous and encouraging, not forgetting that he was loving and of great taste in music. On a personal level i guess in some way i owed Tim my life, although we never kept in regular contact, whenever we'd hear from each other there was never a negative. Tim always had the ability to make people do something that others try so hard to do and fail.....he made them smile. It was Tim who introduced me to Queen tribute bands, in fact he was one of the first ever Queen fans i ran into on the internet, i thought he was mad....and im sure he thought the same of me (grin). I can still recall the day that i was conned into hear this music file that Tim had...it was of some Japanese band named Kween, i figured that they must have been taking the piss out of my favourite band and wanted none of it....But when Tim insisted, i relented (not many people can make me let my guard down..Tim could). It was a fair call, Kween were not only good..they had great original songs....i could relate to the one i heard that day, a tribute to Freddie Mercury named "Cheers!". Id mentioned to Tim that i liked the band and where could i get their cd from ? In the end he wound up getting their vocalist to send me free copies of their first 2 cds. What was to happen that day was a lasting bond that will never be unchanged.... ....that first time i chatted with Tim on Richard Orchards site, we had a few laughs, i was at a time in my life when i was a lost soul, and probably a lost cause...i needed those laughs like never before. ....Tim wasnt the only one that was in that chatroom on that first occasion, there was a girl named Kara. We hit it off immediately...and although i had never chatted with her or Tim before i felt a connection, something there that was amazing. (I think i can recall Ellis was in and out of the chatroom too !). Kara and i were there when Tim opened the Kween website, we'd go there regularly, usually with me trying to get all manner of threads started on their bulletin board (some things will never change...i am the promo god :) One thing i never knew until it was too late was that Kara was a very ill young lady....Tim would never admit this to the world but he had the heart of a saint. When Kara was struggling to even get out the bed each day, Tim would go and do her shopping for her and run all her errands. And so as to not embarass her he would leave the shopping at her front door and then go on his merry way.....Tim was all about compassion and kindness. When Tim and Ellis got married, i had wished i could have been there....but rather than leave his silly friend from down-under out of the event, he sent me a copy. Even when i first saw that video, it made me wanna feel the kind of love that i could see between Tim and Ellis...perfect love. Tim was a wonderful husband, a great father, a jovial friend......and one of the most upstanding Queen fans i have ever met. Gary Cherone once joked with me about forming an exclusive group called "Queen Addicts Anon", we had stated that only a select few could join us in that group......had Tim and Gary met, im sure he would have been signed up on the spot. Tim, i want to thank you for giving me the time of day, for being such a wonderful person...you went out there and did things in your life to make others lives special.....just by existing you did that to those of us who knew you from afar. Ellis, i miss the big guy and i miss chatting with you on the net, i hope that all is well with you and yours, and im sure that Tim is looking down on us with that big grin of his wondering what all the fuss is about.........."you made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us feel like we could fly" ------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks For The Time (A Salute To A Truely Loving Guy) Lyrics By Richard Anderson Lyrics written 16th January 2002 Dedicated In Loving Memory Of My Friend Tim Davis Thanks for the time And the moral support Thanks for handing me a lifeline And being someone to look up to You help the world to smile Even at your own expense I will not stay silent For you would not want me to pretend You sacrficed your time for those in need Oh you were always faithful A definite well thought of friend And now in this time of tears You would not want us to cry But still we do - no matter how hard you'd want us to try Some things for friends we must defy You help the world to stand and take notice You spread the word of the things you believed To those none the wiser To those you can fill in Thanks for including me I am blessed to have basked in your life I am honoured to have been given your strength Thank god you had the heart to care Thanks for the time Thank you for being there And now the time has come to whisper sweet things To an ever-smiling friend Rest in peace oh joyous one Be sure we will remember you Be sure we will continue as you would have wanted As i raise another glass i hear the music fade You would have me turn it up again Thanks for the time The patience and the understanding Thanks for complimenting our lives You wonderfully special man Thanks for acting out of passion Thanks for being honest to the core In this whole world you made us explore As we walk in the shadow of your love For you had a point to prove Most of all dear friend Thanks for just being you Ive just got one more thing to say... We will always love you ------------------------------------------------------------ in the words of Tims friend and mine....."Cheers!"

Tim was one of my favorite cousins even though I hadn't seen him for awhile. I just wanted everyone to know how much I enjoyed being around him. Most of my memories are when I was younger. We always had a family reunion at Tim's mom's house, my aunt Wilma. Those times were the best. You could always hear him, laughing. Tim had a laugh like noone else. That is what I will miss the most. But I know in my heart that when he went to heaven our grandma was there to welcome him. She was so proud of him, just like all of us. To Ellis, the girls, and Keith...Remember that he will always be in your heart. Even though I have not met some of you (Ellis and the girls) my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I've known Tim for quite a few years. He was a member of Royal Vision and attended a few Queenventions. He and I shared a dream of seeing all the Queen fans truly unite in the US and having one kick-ass convention. I am so glad he saw that dream become a reality. I am so very sad that he won't get to see another dream turn reality when Queen get their Star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. Tim was one of the biggest supporters of the idea. Not only couldn't I have done the petition without him, he told me repeatedly he'd help with whatever I needed. That was pure Tim. In 2000, he came to the convention in Detroit and walked in at 11 PM with 40 tacos, enough for everyone. "We were hungry", he and Ellis explained. "We thought everyone else might be too." He had even convinced the store to open up just as they were about to close. Tim was the most generous guy I knew. He didn't flaunt his wealth - he shared it freely. If he is in Heaven, when he's not talking Freddie's ear off he's trying to convince God to do a website! He was a genuine one-of-a kind and he will be sorely missed. I just hope we can all be a little bit like him.

I'm not feeling very articulate at the moment, but I do want to express my sadness at the loss of Tim, and my sympathy to Ellis and the children, and his family. My favorite memory of Tim was standing in line at the guitar store, waiting for Brian to come to the signing, he gave me a t-shirt, when I finally got to the web, more than a year later, that was the first Queen site I found. Great Queen Fan, He seemed to always be doing something to help out in some way or another, Fun to talk to, I know that I will miss him at the gatherings, where-ever and when-ever they are. May his spirit be blessed.

I met Tim at Breakthru 2001 and in my opinion, was the most generous and genuine QUEEN fan I've met to this day. It was an honour hanging with him those few days and I do wish that we had gotten to be better friends. To his family I say, carry on in his place! He was a wonderful human being, from what I witnessed. All the best to you and xo's Michael J Kramer Stratford, Connecticut

I'm still in shock.Tim was one of those people you liked the moment that you met him.He really went out of his way to make the Queen gatherings so special. This past year in Cleveland, Tim was having such a blast selling raffle tickets.(and yes he did sell me a winning ticket, just like he said it was) I was having so much fun watching him. And you could just see how much love there is between him & Ellis. My heart goes out to her, their children, family and all those who knew and loved Tim. Even though I only met Tim a couple of times, I always thought that he was one of the nicest people that I've met(being a Queen fan how could he not be?)and I will miss him. I will keep Tim, Ellis and their family in my prayers. Rest in peace Tim. Sincerely and with deepest sympathy, Loretta Reynolds
