I just acquired a 10 week old white long haired german shepherd female that I named Klondike due to her front paws reminding me of a polar bear pup from colorado. I wasn't sure this was a "real" breed and started doing some google research. I found your site and I'm so excited about the potential we have with Klondike. She's got a very sweet temperment so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how she matures.

White German shepherds are absolutely equal to saddle backs or any other breed. If you know someone who has a male two years or older looking for a mate for my four year reg. AKC white German shepherd. | |

Just wanted to say hello! I am the proud Mommy of Maia "Beauty of Atlas", from the litter with Jetta at Odyssey Kennels. (July 9th, 2005)
I have to say that Maia blesses us every day with her beauty, grace and loving disposition. A life without her would be unimaginable. I own one Akbash dog who protected my chickens and goats on five acres. I'm getting ready to move to a more isolated area on more acreage in Nevada. We have owned German Shepherd mixes in the past. I love my Akbash but am interested in a more versatile guard/herding/obedience dog in my future venture. | |

Hi Tracy,
I had to come and see what new feats Atlas has accomplished this month. WOW, What a dog! I am a very proud owner (Momma) of one of his puppies. Our Max is a wonderful all around dog. Super temperment, incredibly smart and a terrific cuddler. Our vet complimented us on our choice of dog, said "he’s such a sweet boy, you definately found a good German Shepherd Dog!" I wrote Karsjens into google to see who has the same name like me. If I understand it right, the name of grandpa and grandma from atlas was Karsjens. Thats the reason why it is a wonderfull dog ! I love your dogs and wish you and I lived closer. I have two females and lost my male to a virus about five years ago. I would not trade my girls for any thing. With my parents we had unpapered saddle backs. The white German is everything a saddle back was. Baron von Bair was my first White German shepherd and registered AKC. | |

This is a great website so many beautiful pictures you did a great job displaying the dogs. I have never seen so many beautiful shepards before. I really like the white shepards. I had one about twenty years ago, I loved her so much. I have been going to the UKC shows for about one year now, and I enjoy the shows so much, and I have also learned alot about showing. Which helps me because, I have two Cavalier King Charles that I will be showing at the UKC in April. Can't wait to see the shepards.

We just brought home one of Atlas' and (Odyssey's) Jetta's pups, who will be registered as Odyssey's Mr. Blue (or Odyssey's Blue Boy, we haven't quite decided), we call him Blue, and we couldn't be happier. He is simply gorgeous and precocious, at only 10 weeks old. We can't wait to see him grow into the gorgeous dog we know he will be. He's already proving himself to be as smart as his 5 month old "sister" who's got months of training ahead of him. We feel so lucky! | |
