Comments: In Dec 99, the Weapons Family lost a member, Mike (Miko) Gutierrez. I've known him since Wurtsmith. We even cross-trained into Command and Control together when we were stationed at DM. He was stationed at Pease originally I think, and ended up in Honduras. He was a great guy, the kind who would always take that weekend duty for you, if needed. Miko left a wife, 2 children and too many 462 brothers and sisters. This moment of silence is dedicated to you bro! Anyone who knew him or me, please e-mail!

Comments: There was nothing better than cranking them bombs or fixing a stupid malfunction. 462's partied everywhere and hung together not like the other sissy AFSC's. Damn air Force is always changing something just to screw with us. I guess the new 2XX whatevers couldn't count to four so that had to change. I had some damn good times with the "TOADS". Carrying five gallon coolers filled with Harvey Wall Bangers or some other wild ass weapons brew to the outdoor movies in Thailand. Dragging our asses back to the hooches and then sleeping for a couple and up and ready to load, burping Harvey's or whatever all day. Get to the hootch and start all over again. We stuck together and you knew you could count on you buds. this civilian world crap is just that, CRAP. we played hard and worked hard, Nobody gave a crap about us until trouble was brewing then it was light the Pentagon would flash a big 462 light AKA Batman) into the sky and then we were GODS. Hell without us the Air Force would be just another unscheduled Airlines. Keep cranking them bombs boys and I guess girls. Damn that's another thing that was hard, no pun intended, tits on the ramp. Go Toadies.

Nobody gives a hoot. Life is a business, don't land on Boardwalk or Park Place. What, still no Weaponz Message Board? How lame! They have a message board over at weaponsloader.com. Comments: Separated Feb. 2008 from active duty weapons. Transferred over to the Guard. I am still weapons working the F-16. Don't regret my time on active however it was not what i expected it to be. I grew tired of all the crap I had to deal with. Poor leadership, Needless rules, and selfish attitudes crippled most of what i saw. True professionalism was subpar from what it should of been. Very few leaders ever strived to help the masses, most only looked out for themselves. Many of my loading accomplishments were never fully recognized due to the "Politic Games". I have awards but never got the respect our crews deserved, i guess that is what happens when your crews are that good and people get jealous like a bunch of wieners. Its not the job i had problems with, I am proud to be a 2W1 but it was way to many subpar people. To many for what the military should be. I hope the Guard will be a better place, only time will tell.....
