After trawling through the internet for local bands in Devon, to play at our wedding, it was with great relief that I finally come across one that were really 'tight' with the timing and whose lead singer could belt out a good tune. However, Delta Skelta could do much, much, more than that. They really could rock, and their shirts were pretty cool too!
From the beginning of my dealings with the band, they were very professional. When I paid them a little late they politely nudged me. And when I asked for first song suggestions they promptly sent me a list. The greatest thing was that they learned some Rolling Stones favourites for my other half. They were enthusiastic, proactive, and I was already looking forward to meeting them! They certainly didn't disappoint on the night. They arrived early, and seemed happy to hang out for a while when the timing drifted. They were real crowd pleasers and the dance floor was mobbed, with older family and friends dancing more than the young 'uns! The only down side was that they could only play until 11pm! Though I think they managed to push it a little past that with the insistence of the crowd. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, in fact, if I was getting married in Devon again (hopefully not) - I'd book them! A really great, professional and fun band. Thanks for a great night! Can't thank the band enough for a brilliant night - we and all our guests had a fantastic time and don't remember stopping dancing all night - the band were great at every stage from planning and arranging the set and the music and put a lot of effort into helping us have a fantastic time. We would recommend delta skelter for any wedding or function without a doubt if you want a lively band and lots of fun and dancing!! | |

The band was brilliant and everyone has said how much they enjoyed it. On my journey back to Hatfield last night I was composing a suitable response and came up with a strap line for you- ‘Delta Skelter-What a Belter of a Band’. For me it summed up the whole evening. They were belting the tunes out and the dancers were a mass of ‘Body, sweat and ears’ Fantastic!!
I am so pleased they enjoyed the food, drink and hospitality. I understand they were very supportive to my daughter who was still putting the pictures up when they arrived. Thank you for that. I also want to say a big thank-you to you Alex, for making things happen. To respond to everything so promptly was a great relief. Saw you at the longbrooke on thursday. excellent, one of the best bands we have seen there in ages. we had difficulty finding out what you where called though as we couldn't see your names on any of the posters outside, we had to ask. hope you come back soon. | |

Thank you so much to the band for a great gig at our Wedding in May. You got everyone on the dance floor and throwing some spectacular moves! We really enjoyed the music and our guests said the same. From the toddlers through to the one octagenarian, everyone had a great boogie. Hope you enjoyed it too, the atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you! | |
