well, it's goodbye time. In a few short days I will no longer be a hardcore Williams Laker... I will be off spreading the Reuben love at SFU.
I have to agree with Crotchless, the Reuben Love will never leave us, and neither will the magic. Or amazing tracks and kick ass approach to life has changed the world, and changed us. Being a part of this band had made this band a part of our lives, and it will always be a part of our lives. We'll get together for reunion tours, and perhaps even record again. And who knows where life will lead us, one day Topless Reuben might reunite for good and take the world by storm. Most of all, i would like to say thank you to all our Reuben fans. Well everyone, I guess I ought to say my goodbyes as well. Topless Reuben has been a wild crazy ride on the fame-train... but now our members are pursuing other things for a while. The magic will never truly disappear though, of this I am sure. I will be spreading the Reuben love in Edmonton this fall and going to U of A. Oh my goodness...
Topless Reuben has come to a temporary stop. I love all of my band mates dearly and wish them the best in their adventures! When University is done with, and we all have degrees that can get us amazing jobs, it won't matter because it will all come back to the music. Topless Reuben will NEVER be over. It's so sad, summer is here, and Topless Reuben is no longer together on a dailey basis. In fact, in two days one member of the band is leaving town, permanently. This is a very sad time for us, because time doesn't stop, it keeps moving, and so do we. In the fall the members of TR will be scattered across two provinces, and, even though we will be apart, we will always be together. This is not the end of our band, but a break. We need this time apart to experience life so when we get back together we will have all these amazing experiences to share, and put into our music. So never fear, there will ALWAYS be a Topless Reuben. Oh, and Shandi, talk to Rachel about the T-Shirt... she's our manager and covers that end of things. Love you and all the Reuben fans!

Wow... I was just chillin' at MacDonalds today, when it hit me, I, Stevie Benisch, am a part of the most amazing thing possible; Topless Reuben. It was like a total relivation, suddenly I realized that I had everything in life that I could ever hope for... Hey I'm posting these here (no offence to The Evil Groove) becuase this site is a little more active for some reason. Anywho as you may or may not seen The Evil Groove t-shirts around. They've almost soul'd out!! Actually i's no real big surprise. I had 15 now I'm down to 7. I wanna try and sell all the current shirts asap so I can order new ones for the concert on the 20th. There's one problem though. I'm having troubles deciding on what colour of t-shirt and what colour of logo they should be. So e-mail me and tell me what you think and I'll tabulate all the answers and the most suggested colour will be the chosen shirt. So far I have red logo on military green, black shirt with pink logo and black shirt with white logo. If you think about it (I think), that this is the first interactive decision between the band and fans.

I was sitting by myself at home, talking to myself and staring at the pictures section of the topless reuben site, when I suddenly realized just how great topless reuben is. I mean, we all know "Topless Reuben is the best band EVA" its stock fare for any reubian. But to comprehend this concept as opposed to simply reciting it, is a whole independent state of conciesness.
To truly accept and embrace Topless Reuben as the Best Band Eva, we must first examine what this entails. To accept Topless Reuben we must first refute all others. I like Marylin Manson, yet I realize Marylin is mearly "Good". The idols of one's past must be activly set aside by the Topless Reuben fan on a concious level. Only this way may we truly achieve what I have come to think of Reuvanna, an enlightend state of being. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.
