ARTIMUS PYLE will also be performing with the CRAWDADDYBAND the following day 8/27/11 at the ROOTSTOCK MUSIC FESTIVAL at C.B. Huntingtons, 140 rt. 9 in Bayville N.J. 9:00pm to 11:00pm. The real original CRAWDADDY played at "The Gin Mill" in Jersey with Artimus Pyle.You really should have been at that show.If you think that was good, you should here the guitar sounds out of the original CRAWDADDY band. They are much more authentic and have much better players. Sorry you missed it. The real original CRAWDADDY band has no intrest in Playing JD's.The last time they were there they got shorted money, and were lied to by the sub player drummer you saw on Saturday who was in on it with the club owner! So what you saw was a bunch of sub players who went home with less money then the drummer.Oh by the way. You said the band was good, but you never commented on the vocals. |

It's wounderfull to be back playing with CRAWDADDY again.For the time that I was not involved with the band, I felt a void. Being able to express my feelings, through music, releases some heavy duty positive chemicals.
I really like to very sincerely thank all of the "present"band members for their reacceptence of myself back into the band, and also all of the bands fans and friends for their support and kindness. I also would like to especially thank the source. And we all know what that is. LYNYRD SKYNYRD!!. All the songs that they created, and performed are excelent, very guitar friendly, and fun to play. I have to thank all the SKYNYRD people for what they created. The music will be played for ever, and I feel prevledged to be able to perform their wounderfull music with THE CRAWDADDY BAND. Thanks everyone for your support, and I'll continue to work hard at authenticating sounds, parts, and leeds so as to make better the performence. O'h yea, and for everyone that was at the show the other night, "hadga like" the the grand fanally.I do appologize to any with sensitive eyes, but it was to late, their was no turnning back.It happend all so fast, I had no time to react, and the next "ting I nu" ,---THEIR WAS A DRAFT !!!. How's the knee doing Bryan? Steve, I'm not sure which Old #7 Band you're from, that name has come and gone so often in the tri-state area that I'm surprised anybody thinks it's original or useable. There's a lot of wannabee singers out there who say they can do it better than the guy that's actually doing it... some who are good but have no showmanship, some that are just poseurs with no chops, but not too many that can boast that they have appeared before thousands [at one time, not throughout their career], jammed with Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers, and had the talent, energy, and staying power to front a powerhouse band like CrawDaddy...You've gotta be more than lucky or in the right place-right time to accomplish that ... Needless to say, you've firstly embarrased yourself with your post by even putting yourself in the same sentence as ANY of the Van Zant brothers, secondly by even hinting that you could do a better job than Bryan. WANNABE? Solution...go form your own band, front it successfully for 9 years while playing in front of tens of thousands at events like NASCAR and BIKER CONVENTIONS [you SUCK? They'll tear your head off!], open for the big boys and jam with them and then you can tell us all about your bad self! |
