I just came across your homepage in search of Gilda's Club information. I am also, a Lori and I was also a huge fan of Gilda Radner on SNL. I read her book, it's always something many years ago. In March of 2004, I was diagnosed with Stage IIIC Breast Cancer, after chemo, mastectomy, more chemo, and radiation, I am clean. I was 34 when I was diagnosed. It seems that we have a lot more in common than our first names. Gilda's Club on the Capital Region, opened in March 2005. I was one of the first members and so were my children. They love noogieland and I love the friends I have made there. I can only thank those responsible for making Gilda's Club a reality in our area of Upstate NY. My prayers are with you. God Bless!!! |
