My boyfriend and I were in Elko Saturday night in the VIP section. Unfortunately, as you know, it was rained out. It was one of the biggest disappointments in our lives for both of us. (I'm not kidding.) But there's a little history behind why we were so disappointed. My boyfriend and I knew each other in high school, but never dated. It it was about the time that you guys were rockin' the world. Anyway, we both went off to college, married, had babies, worked, divorced, etc. and didn't see too much of each other until a few years ago. Needless to say, we started dating. Until Saturday night, after the concert was cancelled, my boyfriend hadn't realized that I was your Groupie #2. We sang to your cd's all the way home. I usually don't sing, but we were both belting them out. (I'll give him Groupie #1 status as he sang three songs acapella that night to try to get you guys to come out and play.) We even said if you guys could have only played four songs, what would they have been. We agreed on all of them, just not in the same order (Fantasy Girl, Caught Up in You, Hold on Loosly, and Like No Other Night). Anyway, we wished we could have seen you guys play and understand why you couldn't, but it was disappointing for us, and everyone else there that night. Then when Elko told us we could go to Styx in a few weeks, we both said we don't want to see f#@%'in Styx (nothing against Styx btw), we want to see .38 Special!! We would have slept in the car and came back with a Starbucks coffee instead of a beer on Sunday morning. It wouldn't have mattered. Think about trying to reschedule when you're in this area again. We'd go just about anywhere to see you guys, but work and kids, etc. kind of tie us down a bit. Keep rockin' and hope to see you again some day. Still Sad in Minnesota, Janine |

I have been a fan of .38 Special for over 20 years and never really had the opportunity to see you guys in person. I know you perform at the DTE Energy theatre outside Detroit, but I couldn't seem to be able to get there. I know Port Huron doesn't offer the biggest or best venue, but I'm hoping you will be back in the very near future. Thanks again for the best concert performance I've been to. |

| Comments: | Well I must say 38 Special has always been one of my faviorte bands I never had a chance to see. On July 4 2011 me and my wife got 2nd row center stage tickets to see them and after being out of a wheelchair for the first time in 3 years was blown away to have an opportunity to finally see them. Well it was an outdoor concert and into the 3rd song it poured down rain and show was canceled They did an awesome job on the first 3 song and could tell they were just getting warmed up. The only sader day for me other than that day was the day of my accident. You guy were great and would love to see a whole show hope u come back this way soon. James here from Hampton V.A.

Words cannot express how meaningful that was to me...Meeting Don and some the road crew outside of the hotel was also a major highlight of the night, and ya'll were all so nice about it! | Comments: | Hey Guys! I was at the concert at Harlow's Casino in Greenville MS on 11-20-2010. This was my first date with my husband since we were married 7 years ago. We drove 3 hours to get there. It was a night to remember! A total stranger came up to me and offered me a backstage pass and I got to go backstage and have my pic taken with ya'll. I was so nervous and in awe just being in the same room with ya'll! I wanted to talk to ya'll but, the words just wouldn't come out. What I wanted to say is: Thank ya'll so much for your music, your dedication to your fans, and for being there that night.
For the last few months I have been so depressed and going through a lot of stuff. Just being there that night ya'll helped bring me out of my depression and made me forget about all the problems going on in my life right now. It was truly a night to remember and created memories that I will never forget. Ya'll have no idea how much that means to me. I have been a faithful fan for many years. Here´s a call from Sweden! first of all I want to thank you for som great music. Im a great fan and I am listening to your records as often as I can. I would like to know if 38 special thougt about doing a toure i Sweden. Im proud to own allmost every CD but not the first one that you made 1977 and your latest CD. Its allmost impossible to buy your recods in Sweden so I have to import them or have my friends buying when they go to the states. Just got back from the show atthe Fair here in Boise Dudes! AWESOME! That was truely Bad ass & I appreciate the effort. Thanks a Million, really made up for that standing in the rain for 3 hours 20 years ago at Fort Bragg and then no one ever comming out even though my ticket said Rain Or shine. What happened? No one ever told me and I never got anything back sept a cold. LOL |

| Comments: | hi, i see 38 special will be in oshkosh wisc on thursday! Everyone knows of Donny loosiong his brother, i too lost mine, in '03. The previous year we seen the band in minocqua wisc, and Rebel to Rebel became our theme song!
Ive had a memorial tat put on my back in '04, takes up 1/2 my back, its a coffin draped with an american flag, and above it , its says "brother to brother, rebel to rebel", and below it his memorial dates.
