Last night...on David Letterman, the Paul Schaefer band was playing Vehicle. Then tonight on Nightline, there was an inspiring story of a New York Elementary school teacher, bringing music into there lives. A shy boy in his classroom asked if they could sing Eye of the Tiger. The teacher had the boy, then the whole classroom singing Eye of the Tiger. It was cool to see that a 10 year old was inspired by the teacher and by a Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik song. keep up the great melodic work my friend!! I would like to ask you if there is any chance of an official release of your demos with Dave B ..commonly known as the "Fire Makes Steel" demo's?? As you are aware... the songs can be freely downloaded on the www.... albeit in poor mp3 quality... still...it is enough to know that most of those songs are "prime time" Survivor classics...song writing right up there with the best of your back catalogue! "The Love We Never Made"..wow...shivers on that one... and I have to say "Fire Makes Steel" is the definitive version on the demo's...far punchier than the officially released version with Jimi(Just my opinion) The time must be right to clean up the tracks and release them.... Chicago recently dusted down their "Stone Of Sisyphus" album..shelved by their record company in the early 90's, also Tall Stories(Steve Augeri) resurrected a 10 yr old project..so..the demand is there!! Its just my opinion..but I see these songs as a "legitimate" Survivor release.. please please get the guys together, and put this material out....
