I don't know how else to get ahold of you, so I will post this question here. I am completing a certification as a sound recording engineer in December. Any chance you may need an intern at the studio? I want to get out there and start working, as I have been unemployed for a few months now. I just need some more experience. Thanks, Kirk Steinbruecker |

| Comments: | Hi Jim...
Just want to say hi and let you know we have not seen you or the Ides lately due to ongoing medical issues for Joyce and myself and then a recent move to Phoenix, Az. With all the folks you encounter names are not always remembered but if this helps you sat just behind us and played guitar to Joyce when the Ides did Elgin on 3/15/08, brought a rose for her 9/8/01 in Bensenville and introduced us to Donnie Van Sant on Labor Day, 2001 in Naperville. We sometimes fall off the radar, but Joyce asked that I write to let you know of our situation. We both feel a special bond with you due to the garciousness accorded Joyce from the first time we met after a .38 Special show at the HOB in early 2001. Should the unwanted occur and we never meet personally again, it has been our honor each time you acknowledged us and we ask God's blessings for you and yours. Meanwhile we will check the web and hope you will tour in Phoenix in 2010. With Best Regards, Joyce and Al Vogt |

| Comments: | Thank you. We had a blast at The WoodDale concert you put on. You and your crew are "down to earth" and kind hearted guys. My uncle had a ball. He keeps talking about it! I had fun also. Its not everyday a person gets to see stars upclose. My uncle never had been to a live band before. Before he, my mother and other aunt and uncle moved in, he had never been to much at all. I took him to see his first movie, his first restaurant, exc. But The concert you guys put on, was by far the best. You were so kind to him. Thank you.

| Comments: | Jim,
It was such a pleasure chatting with you yesterday outside the Vette shop; talking cool cars and playing rock n' roll for joy, passion and charity. As you advised, I listened to your Lifeforce interview on Roe Conn's show last night and was delighted. My 11 year old son overheard the jazzed acoustic version of "Eye of the Tiger" you and Lisa ripped out and said,"Dad,I know that song, but it doesn't sound like the one on my iPod." That is called 'progression', and you have done it well. My offer stands sincere that if you need a 35 year veteran local stand-in drummer (yes, I know you have a stable of the best in the business), I'm one town over from you and have been playing so many of your songs in our set lists over the years. I was practicing/drumming to the Pat Metheny 'Rarum" disc 2 nights ago, then I read your Lifeforce bio today and learned his work is an influence in this project: it sounds great! I'll have to come out soon to a gig. As with some of the previous guest signers, I'm looking forward to that cool Soundstage World DVD; what a line up! Keep sharing your gift of music with us, it makes the world a better place. And don't forget to fix that tail light; 58's look great with the running lights on. My best to you, Rob |

| Comments: | Hi, Jim! I am from Ukraine, where all of your bands never were popular, but it did not prevent me from becoming a huge fan of all your projects since the moment I have bought "The Roaring Of Dreams" CD. It was accidentally: I just wanted to hear an example of 80's AOR/Hard Rock played today. So, I decided to buy some of the Frontiers releases. I remembered the description of the first POL album from one catalogue, where was told that you were the great and fruitful songwriter, so I thought "well, there is a new CD from that project, perphaps, buying it will be a good way to know what contemporary AOR is". I even did not listen to it in the shop, I just gave salesman my money and took the CD. When I listened to album first at home, I did not like it, it seemed to me too sugary. But I turned it on second and third time and then I was just blown away with these beautiful soaring melodies and pure positive energy of your music. So, now I'm your fan and I'm looking for a every one of your projects, especially POL. Carry on, Jim!
P.S. By the way, not so long ago I was smoking weed with my friends, we talked about good songs with really optimistic feeling and I turned on the "Vehicle". They listened to it with open mouthes, and now this song is a ring on mobile phone of one of them. Great songs never die. So, receive my best regards from Donetsk, Ukraine. |

My Grandmother told me about you. You might remember her form Cicero, IL. Sandra Borowczyk, you went to school with her brothers, James, Richard, Michael Borowczyk and her sister Carol Borowczyk. My Grandmother told me that you also sang at the recording studio in Brookfield, IL. My Grandmother lived it the house right next to the studio. What a small world. I was telling my step-father about you....but he cant believe that my Grandma know you. I love your song, Eye of The Tiger! Take care, Kayla |

Please, do not stop producing POL albums and Live DVD concerts. The sound of the group is amazing, it is truly best since Survivor, but as i said to you before I think POL is the future and no returning back, in my opinion, is good. Hope in near future you will included South Amčrica on your live tour. DVD Belgium is a good live record, but should be considered in my opinion more good POL songs. |

I KNOW it's cream of the fight, but they say thrill. I can understand why it says that, because of the, the before it makes a TH sound, so it sounds like thrill instead of cream.
Can you email me telling me which one it is? |
