Comments: Hi
My cousin died in 1969. He was a Marine. We receieved a call which indicated that his death was different than what the family was told. His name was Rusty (Burt) Everett Miller. He grew up in a suburb of Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Manchester High School. Any forwards would be appreciated. He died in November. The fouth or the sixth I believe.

Comments: This is a beautiful web site. Perfect in everyway. The
Vietnam Vets deserve this and so much more. I am a very
big fan of all those who served in VietNam. My best friend
is a Nam Vet and I share all the feelings that I read on
this website. I pray everyday that I won't have to add Tom
to Taps. You should be proud that you have put together
such a special and wonderful tribute to your friend. Thank
you.

Comments: I have been reading Taps for years now and i grieve for the
common foot soldier (Grunt) I (Army) and fellow worker
(Marine) talk and cry together as we talk about the
forgotten soldiers. John waited 25years to talk and one day
i gave him an article to read and it was about his unit on
Hill 881 Khe Sanh. every since we share our experiences and
thoughts. We have become brothers in the Lord. Keep the book
going......

Comments: I've always been interested in the Vietnam war. The men who
fought and died deserve our respect and we have to
appriciate their service in the whole free western world. My
grandfather served under Hitler in the war in Russia.
Survived Stalingrad. He was a normal boy, just like every
vet of every war - and all of them became victims of war. I
think it is great for this marine to have a friend like you,
this way he won't be forgotten, ever!

Comments: Ohhhh Bay, what a lovely page for a special man. I am so
sorry for your loss. Your friend has gone to be with his
comrades. My Dad was killed in Nam. I never met him. Those
soldiers fought so hard so we could have out freedom. As
you, I applaud these men and women.
Your photography is inspiring. I enjoyed the nascar pics.
Rusty is my fav. Keep up the good work girl and I hope to
see you in chat real soon.

Comments: It is, in fact, ashame that most Marines and other
servicemen are neglected after giving every once of energy
from their being to ensure that the average American is
secure under the blanketed freedom for which they take for
granted. This Marine selflessly gave his life so that we
may live ours! God Bless you. Semper Fi!
