I was curious to see if this was the same Diez family that I knew I was related to. Sure enough, I found my father (Richard Jon Lloyd) on the family tree (stemming off of Anna Maria Diez who married James Lloyd), and found pictures of my grandparents (Bob and Pat Lloyd of Youngstown) from the last reunion. It was really interesting to learn how part of my family got to America, and especially to see old family photos.

I do not know if I can connect with your family. My Dietz Family left Germany in 1767 and went to Russia. They were from the Hessen area, a village called Sellnrod.
