Man, that was a killer disappointment. I really wanted to re-read that. . .

Anyway, since you're re-writing, I assume they'll be back up eventually, so I guess I'll just have to wait. xD.

Look forward to reading it again - I really love that story. And good luck in all your current endevours.

Made me cry a lot and just pierced my heart with pleasant feelings for both Cloud and Sephiroth. I read it on a site called noire sensus and just recently found your site.
I am currently reading your other works and exegesis has captured me ^^;;. I hope that I can read your update soon. And I will be rereading ALHR soon. I just can't stop myself T_T

I was able to read the first 12 chapters of Exegesis straight through and am extremely disheartened that now I have to wait. XD But I look forward to reading some of your original stories in the meantime. :)

Keep it up, if not for your loyal fans, then for Zack...because he, as well as the not-so-loony Sephiroth, don't get enough screen time in the actual game.

I swear you're the only author who's able to keep me reading a wip. Simply too good to pass up and I have the hope of all hopes that it will, some day, be complete. *sigh* Damn this is good. (in /so/ many different ways!) I loved what you did with Cloud...and Sephiroth and Zack and most of the others (especially Reno and his "Send in the clones!" joke, lol)

I'll have you know that even now (which is several months after reading it the first time) I'm still going back to read a certain part(s) over since I love the entire thing so much.

Thank you.

I'm so happy right now, that, your story was the only bloody one of my favourites that was actually finished and it had been bugging the HELL out of me since I saw you talking to people, but I didn't know how! I tried to look you up on fanfiction.net but my search was in vain, but if this is THE Twig, I can only scream in joy! ^0^

I'm sorry, the story... There's no words to express how wonderful it was and how I felt so sad and restless when I read the epilogue as I usually do when such a wonderful thing comes to an end... I, wow, it blew me away. @.@

I'm sorry I can't express how much I loved the story and keep running into circles, but still, I'm relieved that I can contact you, to the wonderful author(ess) who wrote the story.

...>>> I wish I could have your autograph, or write something towards your story as others have done... o.o

Well, sorry for making a big ass comment, and I hope you reply to this one day. ^-^

Though... I'll probably post another one to sort out my ravings for your story... I feel so lost now without it... @.@

Comments:It's been a while, but I just got around to reading chapters 9 and 10 of "Exegesis". This version of Zack's befriending Cloud at Shinra was perhaps one of the most unique ones that I have read, and I mean that in a good way! It has a very realistic edge to it, even considering the guilty slant caused by Zack's perceptions of failure. Then of course in chapter 10, my own perceptions got reset! Rufus really does seem to be doing his best to hold things together (if sometimes only barely) despite a certain want to be military dictator general. That was a twist that I certninaly wasn't expecting, but boy do I love it! It made me think Shepiroth heading over to Shinra and taking over the mility just might be a *good* idea. Of course that could have bad consequences Cloud, I think. Of course, since it has been a while, I had to read over from chapter one. Glad I did, because now I have all sorts of questions and doubts in my head. Like, is Cloud really being maniputaled by the planet, or is he just plain going crazie phantom pains and all? Then again, the threats to Avalanch members could just be a way to get them out of the line of fire without pissing off the Centra too much. Then again, it could be something wholely different, such as this is all a macko induced nightmare. Cloud still wearing the uniform in present while the Zack of the past remembers throwing it a away could just be a plothole (in which case I am sorry for pointing it out) or it could be a major clue. Anyway, as you can see, this story has really got me thinking and I love that!!! I can't wait to see what the answers will eventually be, as well as what other questions I will have! I am looking forward to reading and finding out!

It brings me nothing but joy how you flesh out the characters in little ways (Reno and Rufus and the golf balls) that make them signaturely yours, (Is that a word?) and that you're developing that whole idea of the shakey nature in the connections of AVALANCHE.

I also read Grasshopper after that, and I'm currently reading you're new FF7 fic (I forget how to spell it, sorry :) ). I love it because it is completely different from LHR, and you really seem to be trying to make it original. I do have to add that the waiting period between updates is physically painful for me ;) but I understand you have a life and other projects, so I won't bitch. Anyway, I hope you update soon because I can't wait to see who Cloud will terrorize next, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Rufus and Reno get it on, which you might not be intending, but I hope so very much that you are.

Comments:Hello, Twig.
I'm an old fan of your work, and you were the author who got me into reading (and lately also writing) slash fanfiction, thanks to A Long, Hard Road. For this, I'm very grateful (disregarding all the bad slash I've come across over the years, of course. It helps if ya can laugh at that, though ;D). Ah, I do recall sitting up to the wee hours reading ALHR, driving the rest of the family nuts.
That should say something about what I think of the quality of your work ;)
I just recently found my way back here and read "Grasshopper" as well. I'd read more, but I'm a little unfamiliar with your other fandoms.

Regardless of being a fan of Final Fantasy slash, I want to wish you luck with all your projects, originals as well as fanfics. :)

Comments:Hello *signs guestbook* woo! Haven't touched one of these in a loooooong time. And those times long ago are so horrible that I wish not to remember them... Anyway, as I'm sure most people do, I adore your story, A Long Hard Road. I have not had time to read your other fictions. Nor have I really had the guts. The said story I DID read put me through alot of emotional turmoil... . I was addicted to say the very least. And profoundly effected, so I guess I can say I am still recovering.

Well anyway, during reading, I drew some fanart for your lovely story. I don't mean to advertise my deviant art account to you and others. But As I drew them for you and your story, I'd really like for you to see them. I'd say it was about a month and a half ago that I drew them, You'll find the first here:

I suppose you can read the description to find out what I was thinking when I drew it. The second is here:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/17387704/
Just a sketch, I hope to finish it someday. But even if I don't I still like it. Its better than the first drawing ^.
If you see them then I hope you like them. If you don't I understand, my style and way of thinking tends to be a bit strange.

Your story gave me quite a few sleepless nights and deep thoughts about the nature of love. Sephiroth's proclaimation of the selfish nature of his love will forever go down as one of the most breathtaking scenes I've ever read in a book, period.

Well, maybe besides that scene in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn where Francie's mother explains to her that her first love will forever effect the choices she makes in all love-intrests afterwards. They just strike a note of truth, they make you go "oh... !" Maybe one day I'll get the hutzpah to take on another one of your stories. But for now I'll stick to reminiscing. Thank you <3

Comments:KEPP GOING, TWIG YOU TALENTED WOMAN!

I like the website and the layout. But better than that is all the cool cool readable look-at-able get-your-teeth-into-able creative ...stuff. Awesome stuff. Don't. Stop. I'll actually get some real commentary here someday, when I'm not sneaking looks in at work *eh heh*.

That said, I only hope that I can subvert you and your roommate into becoming Da Mews' roomies/neighbors and have all the talent here close to home. Or in my home. (((Glomps))) your talent -- (((huggs))) you.

Comments:I'm so very sorry for writing again in your guestbook, I wrote below but didn't put my e-mail adress in, which is silly. Hope I'm not wasting your guestbook reading time. I guess I get another chance to say your site is very good, though you pobably hear that alot anyway, though I find it hard to find sometimes, that's why I'm gonna add it to my favorites I guess. Work hard and take care of yourself and keep up the hard work.
