Every time we are at Friends we meet at least one or two new and fun couples that we have not seen there before. One of the great things about Friends is that the DJ plays whatever the crowd wants to dance to, other clubs in the are seem to play only what the DJ wants to hear. The dance floor was packed all night and we all know that is where all the fun begins. Great job Larry and HAPPY BIRTHDAY old man. |

My girl and I had been out to many 'regular' clubs, but we were looking for a more relaxed atmosphere where she can dance on me anyway she wanted, wearing whatever she wanted... but without getting us escorted out of a club LOL! We are a fit couple, my girl is a former print/promotional model and I really enjoy seeing her in her mini dresses... but there are all types of body types and the crowd was grown and respectful. Anyways, after reading information about Friends, it sounded like a good place to start off. Of course, my girl was a nervous wreck! She had a misconception about what this place was going to be like but I read enough to know we'd be OK here. Needless to say, we arrived... it was very private, the doorman was informative and courteous. We walked in and found us a place sit off to the side a bit where we could enjoy each other but enjoy the atmosphere as well. There was no pressure at all, no one coming over with cheesy lines, no one dressed inappropriately, and my girl and I had a great time enjoying ourselves exactly as we wanted. She was able to dance on me and no one stared, no one came over to comment, and in fact... the waitress said she was glad to see us having a good time seeing it was our 1st visit. I paid for a weekend pass but at the end of the night I paid for a 6 month membership. We are not looking to "Swing", but we are more of what one might consider "exhibitionists'. Everything aside... this is a club where you can enjoy the freedom you want to enjoy with your partner. We definitely made the decision to go often! We have been comming there a few times a year and always find it to be fun and provocative but Saturday was off the chart. | Comments: | Friends is a club with a diverse age group. I would say that the age group that goes to friends is mostly between 30-50. There are couples in their 20's that go but again I would say the majority falls somewhere between 30-50. We've been going for over a year now and we were there last night and there were probably over 40 couples in the club. It was a GREAT crowd with a lot of dancing and mingling, pole dancing, shadowbox dancing, and...well, I'll leave your imagination to the rest of what happened. There is smoking allowed in the club but I believe there must have been improvements in the ventilation in the club because we noticed that it wasn't really bad at all last night. Larry and the folks who work the club are awesome! We always look forward to seeing them! See ya next weekend for the special birthday celebration! |

We attended a birthday party at another club on the North Side last night, (after saying we would never go there again after our first experience, and again were VERY disappointed).
