| Comments: | I am wondering if there is a recycled arts movement, and where it is. Several of us artists in Chicago are doing incredible things with "trash" as are many across the entire U.S. Yet, you show very little on your site, and much is from other countries (the aluminum can toys and the awesome rubber chair)
If this is a "museum," where is all the rest of the stuff? I was so excited to google you but then a bit dissapointed at the tiny site. sincerely, Beau. |

| Comments: | Greetings!
I am an educator at The Trash Museum in Hartford, CT. The museum is owned by Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority, which is responsible for managing the municipal solid waste and recyclables for the State of Connecticut. I am exploring options for displaying examples of art made from reuseable items, trash to treasure. Does your museum still exist? I would be interested to talk with you. You can contact me at 860-7577765 or pgarry@crra.org. Thanks. Pam Pamela F. Garry |

| Comments: | I love your page! I decorate or paint furniture too that would otherwise be thrown out and the results are stunning! I have no idea how to get it advertised or displayed and hope to eventually do a web page. I tried to access the museum and couldn't.I am glad to know there are others out there doing the same thing. I recycle all kinds of things. Thank you!!! |

| Comments: | great to discover your resourceful recoveries. in tasmania,
we have a 4-year-old annual "art from trash" exhibition organised by the Resource Work Co-operative (where i work) which ordinarily is involved in salvaging (we call it "scrutineering") reusables from our archaic landfills and retailing them at our Tip Shops. i'll be writing you up in a reuse newsletter i'm working on - could i reproduce 1 of your pix for it? e.g. "cat", which looks oddly much like our extinct Tasmanian Tiger - now resurrected from modern "trashes." |

| Comments: | Have already given one comment - and then realized I had
something else to say (my daughter would say, so what is new?. . .) Is there any way of finding out others who may live in this area (Wareham, MA) that would like to help us in creating this Dump Picker's Festival and Invention Fair? I am (hopefully) going to have workshops on this type of art with the help of artists/craftsmen from Gallery X in New Bedford. I also want to encourage kids/adults to be creative in inventing things that work to help us perform some chore or activity (like something simple that would help us at the recycling center quickly and safely squash plastic bottles to save space in the dumpster!). Two kids helped create something that I can use to push things around since I have difficulty breathing on exertion - using two old bicycle wheels and an old rusted tomatoe cage! I love this creative energy and wish to encourage more - like in the 40's when I grew up in Minnesota! Again, many thanks for your section. |

| Comments: | This is quite an experience - am delighted. Most interesting
statement "free to fly" - and that is exactly what I try to do - along with Langston Hughes thought, "hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is like a broken winged bird that cannot fly" . . am looking forward to helping my town (as their recycling coordinator) create a Found Art/Dump Picker's Art Show to encourage more involvement in recycling - and reduction of product manufacture of packaging that cannot be reused in some fashion. |

| Comments: | I make art out of recycled scrap metal. I was trying to get into the recycled art world with my art. If you have any info on how I may go about doing this, please email me. I have entered a few art shows and always done well. I would like to exhibit at galleries or more shows. Thanx. |
