DAISY: Born; May 2nd, 2007 BONO: Born; June 14th, 2007 Adopted: September 5th, 2007 Both are lovable and affectionate. Bono, -I nicknamed him “Bo”, but call him Beauregard for short, is particularly demonstrative. He is very gregarious and outgoing. Because of his audaciousness, he has already gotten into some difficulties. He has developed a record of aliases with the authorities: “Bonito Mussolini”, “Bonito Flake”, “Bulls Eye Bo”, “Ram-Bo”, “Bo tie”, “Boren Free”, “H. Bogart”, “Bo Jangles”, “Bo-Bo Le Clown”, “Beau Brummel”, “Colonel Beauregard” and, of course, “Sunny Bono”. He enjoys seeing old movies. He wants to be an actor, when he grows up. He loves Charlie Chaplin. He’s seen “The Great Dictator” twice. He can already do all the male parts. He’ll get on my shoulders and put his front paws on my bald spot. Then he’ll make funny faces, like Jack Oakie, doing Mussolini. He’ll raise his right paw to imitate Hitler. He’ll swing his tail around so that the black part is under his nose, to imitate Stalin. Stalin wasn’t in the film, so I don’t know where he got that. He’ll do Napoleon; by raising his right paw across his chest. He doesn’t do Paulette Goddard, …yet. He doesn’t do drag. Daisy is a full month older so she is more mature and sophisticated. She’ll allow Bo to eat the dry food, first. Then, when she feels that he’s had enough, she’ll stick out her right paw and regally pull the dish closer to her. (How may I post photos that illustrate the above statements?) |
