Comments:Sorry Ken I,ve ben busy and havn,t been on here for a while. I made a mistake by letting Fleury go and very much wanted to keep him but the GM said no. I will though hire him with the Flames system. Fleury would of done great with the abbotsford Heat and brought in thousands of fans but being so close to Vancouver he said no thanks. The man has good tates LOL. Just kidding all BC family.

I was afraid I'd have to move out of Abbotsford if he whose name shall never pass my lips got assigned to the Heat. It's great that we've got an AHL team here, but why a flames farm team? I can't in good conscience cheer for the home team now.

Comments:Please join me in remembering a great icon of
the entertainment
community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died
yesterday of a yeast infection
and trauma complications from repeated pokes
in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased
coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their
respects, including Mrs.
Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California
Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain
Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly
described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was
kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his
later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered
a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-
baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky
at times, he still was a crusty old man and was considered a
positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough,
three children: John Dough, Jane Dough and Dosey Dough, plus
they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly
father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20
minutes.

The siging of Bertuzzi to the Flames is a big mistake. He is enemy # one and should not of been brought to our Flames. I will not root for ed because of this but again do not want Calgary to do great and win the cup with Bad Bert on the team.

Comments:I'm not sure getting a 40 year old back-up goalie is the best thing for the Flames right now, but I'lll keep cheering them on. Time for true confessions---I broke down and bought a Canucks jersey. I know it may seem I am a turncoat, but along with 15 kids from my school I will be going on a private skate with Markus Naslund at GM Place this weekend. He is a personal friend of one of our parents and he likes Langley Christian School. I am a bit conflicted, because I am still a Flames fan, but I want Markus to sign the jersey. Maybe it will be worth money one day- who knows. Just to set the record straight, I still wear one of my Flames jerseys around the school when I get a chance- although most of the High School kids would like to wring my neck when I do. I have a bet on with one of the Assistant Principals- if the Flames go further than the Canucks this year- she wears my Flames jersey around the school for a week (she's a die-hard Canucks fan who would pay me hundreds to take my place this weekend), but if the Canucks go further, I have to wear a Canucks jersey. If I need to do that, at least the students won't lynch me and I will look cool with Naslund's signature running across my ample midriff.

I guess its safe to say that another Alberta NHL team can beat the New York Ranger too! Well, the OIL did do battle with them last night and beat them 3-2 in a shootout... hurray! The Oilers let them back into it twice, but kudos to Sam Gagner for the shootout winner and for Mathieu Garon shuting the door on 3- NYR shooters. Personally, I thought it was a great game!

Comments:Tom. Nothing shameful about losing to a great team like the Oilers. Now losing to Phoenix, THAT is embarrassing! Especially 5-1 or 5-0 whatever it was. (I was laughing too hard to get a good look at the score) Wasn't it coach Keenan who once said his team needed a heart transplant after a sound thrashing by the Oilers. Sounds like Calgary needs more than a few trades to fix their problems.
Question: Why is Lethbridge so windy?
Answer: Cuz CALGARY SUCKS!
Take care Tom. Brian

Comments:Rummer mill. According to the Calgary Sun and Yahoo.com sports The Calgary Flames are Interested in getting from Montreal Alex Kovalev 10-7=17 in 19 games Also in the mix are two other players Patrick Marleau SJS 4-7=11 for 21 games and lastly.
Olli Jokinen from Florida 9-12=21 in 21 games. All three are good players and would be a good addition to the Flames. The question is who would they trade to get them?? They can,t afford to llose there big name players so they,ll either trade 1or 2 of there farm team players, draft picks or a couple of there 4th line players that are not doing so great?? Time will tell. All of this though has to be done before the Christmas holiday trade freeze. Fo ALL those Flames fans I,ll keep you informed.
