I descend from the 3rd son Peter Tammens Vanden Bosch b 1823 in the Netherlands and d 1909 in Borculo Michigan, my lines is Peter, his son Hendrick, his son Peter and his son Lawrence. | Comments: | My father was a Vandenbossche and we came from the line of Peter G. Vandenbossche and Elizabeth Greiner line. My grandfather was Daniel Vandenbossche and he married Mary. My grandfather's sibblings were: Charles, Alphonsus, Margaret, and Leo. And they were in Grosse Pte., Michigan. The Vandenbossche's had a farm on Hall Rd. and sold it so that they could put the road in. Most of my Vandenbossche family is in Southeast Michigan. Primarily Marine City, Algonac, and Port Huron. Also, in Kalkaska and Cass City areas. I do have one book that I got from my cousin and it tells all about the Vandenbossche's. I would love to learn more about the book you have and how current it is. |

| Comments: | Hi everyone, my mom is a van den Bosch, was born in Rotterdam Holland, most of her family still lives there, but two of her siblings moved here in Canada.
I started creating a paper family tree and a family tree collage, and it is so cool to see it grow with pictures. What I am thinking how cool it would be to see a link between each one on here. Does any one have the family crest? I would love to communicate with any one who wants to find out if we are related some how. I mean, the van den Bosch was created in Holland, and from there it grew out like a tree, in all directions. But as you go back, it is possible that we all came from that tree, just on one of the branches. |

I am the son of Arthur Vanden Bosch, grandson of Leonard Vanden Bosch, great grandson of Tomma Vanden Bosch. BTW Kyle Vanden Bosch is the son of Doug Vanden Bosch, of Bert Vanden Bosch, who was also the son of Leonard Vanden Bosch. I am amazed at how frequently the name of Vanden Bosch appears. When making arrangements for a trip to Belgium some years ago, I was told it is like "Smith" is in the United States, so I didn't need to spell it. Thankfully there is sanity somewhere. |

| Comments: | Hi to all the Vandenbosch's. I married Thomas J. Vandenbosch from Albion NY in 1985. His father is James P. Vandenbosch now living in Missouri. Grandfather was Francisca (not sure how to spell it) He is buried in the St.Mary's cemetery in Medina NY, His wife was Elsie. She was an orphan. The story we got was that Grandpa worked as a chef on the luxury ships that sailed from the Netherlands during the 1920's and one day decided to stay in America. He was one of 11 children. My father-in-law was one of 9 children, he is the only one left. Would love to hear from anyone who might know of my husbands grandfathers family. |

| Comments: | My mother's maiden name is Vanden Bosch. Her father and mother met on a boat coming from Antwerp (I believe) to the United States in the late 1910's, perhaps 1920. They were both born in Belgium. Prudence, my grandfather's name, was born in 1899. He was one of 11 siblings, if I have my details right.

Henry was a son of Tamme VandenBosch, I find him at 9 years old in the 1860 census for Holland, Ottawa co Michigan living with Tammie (Fammie) in the census, and his wife, also brother Johannes is 19 and at home in this census, is Henry their son? or grandson?
