I would have never imagined how they suffered. And I love the contrast between Orophin and Rumil, its rather striking. I adore the newlyweds... I have this image stuck in my head of a half drunken Legolas with the big golden leaf in his hair and Haldir's hair all a mess. I absolutely ADORE Blood Moon And Mithril! At first I was just glad to have found a long story about my favorite pairing (I love, love love Haldir and Tolking elves in general) cause that short pwp stuff had gotten pretty boring. I intended to finish it within a few days. But then I just couldn't stop reading! Fortunately I was sick and could stay at home to read and read and read! This story and another one called "elf struck" made me adore Haldir and maybe they made him my favorite movie character ever. I'm glad I didn't notice that there was a helm's deep- warning at first because if I had I wouldn't have read it (just can't stand sad endings in slash). I'd been completely lost in some fantasy world for days and I could only speak and think in English (I'm German). It was even worse when I read red ripe fruit for Legolas. In my opinion that's the best part of the story. At first I was not quite satisfied with the scene when Legolas and Haldir finally got together cause I thought their behaviour didn't fit in a way but still I had to read it again and again and again. I was glad that in the end they would get back together in the end but still I was not quite satisfied with the ending. I would have liked to see how it goes on. So I was almost going crazy when yesterday I found "new mithril moon". I think it's a wonderful and suitable end for the story. It touched me though I've read so much slah during tha last weeks that I almost had enough of it. And I woke up this morning and read it again. I got up feeling awfully well and had nothing but Haldir in my head. So, excuse all my babbling and thanks for writing such a wonderful story that I won't forget and that has caused me so much fun (hanging out with a friend when you're both high because of some slash is incredibly funny, for you and for those watching you)! lucie

I love the characterization, I worship the way you manage to have the sex scenes look sweet and pure, and I must admit I almost cried when Haldir left Mirkwood in RRFFL!!
