I am your biggest fan! I loved and still love your work especially as Ash, May and Delia on Pokemon. I have seen Pokemon since I was 6 years old and I am now 17 years old and I still have all the movies on VHS and DVD and I still watch them because you voiced Ash. I miss you as Ash and the others and wish you and the other original actors returned I stopped watching Pokemon after Advanced Battle. And when I saw Diamond and Pearl I couldn't warm up to Sarah. You should try to do something about it, because it's just wrong! The Pokémon company may have though that no one would notice or care, but I sure do! The 8 years of voice talent you gave us in Pokemon will always remain in the hearts of all the Pokemon fans everywhere. You are irreplaceable, and are truly the only voice I hear when I think of Ash. In the recent dubs of the Pokemon anime, Racheal Lillis came back into the series as the voice of Maylene, a gym leader of Sinnoh. I used to watch it years ago when I was little, but then it moved to a channel I didn't have, and just recently it was put on a channel that I do have, and I was over the moon. Then .. my happiness was shattered when I eagerly turned the TV to see Ash's voice had been totally goofyfied. Same with Brock, James, Jessie, Meowth, Nurse Joy etc! They all sound awful! Anyways, I am just here to say how much I am saddened by the fact that PUSA recasted the voice actors with new ones. Now, I am NOT criticizing ANY of the new voice actors, especially Sarah Natochenny. I feel that, to some degree, they DO do an excellent job. However, when you take something away from you that has been there for a long time, it hurts to see something new, which is the reason why some HATE Sarah Natochenny, saying, "She sounds bad". Well, no one can actualy sound BAD; it is a simple case of mixing our opinions with the truth. In this case, we claim SHE sounds bad, when in actuality, WE don't prefer her as the voice for Ash. It is only our own prference that is juding, NOT what we are really hearing. So, I am saying I PREFER you over Ms. Natochenny. NOT that you sound WAY better than her; that is a matter of opnion. In my opinion..... YOU ROCK! Ahem. Sorry for the outburst. Well I better be going now. May the voice of Ash Ketchum (and May) live on FOREVER.

| Comments: | Hey there I e-mailed you once upon a time right when I got word of the switch from the good voice actors to the new ones. I love anime and I love learning voices and the actors. I enjoy your work as well as the other 4-kids Voices. I wish to get into anime as a video editor but i doubt you could help with that. I went to a private school to learn graphic design and video editing but the school lied to me tricked me. So now I'm stuck with a Associate Degree instead of a Bachelors and most of the jobs in Video editing I seen needed a BA and other training. If this was anime i'd sigh and have a sweat drop right now.
I wish you were still doing the voice of Ash and the others. The internet said you guys were replaced by sound alikes but I don't hear it. Brock kind of sounds like he use to now after 2 or so years. It also took him awhile to get some emotion back into his womanizing. Ash sounds a little older which I kind of like but I still would prefer to have you has his Voice. I mean you could easily make him sound older and we have the technology to do it to. May sounded to old, especially in the movie with mew and the mirage pokemon. I think you did May's voice much better and you were able to capture so much emotion in her. Jessie sounds the same I guess, but James sounds like someone has his pokeballs in a vice grip. Meowth sounds more annoying and I miss his old Newyork-Brooklyn accent and his laugh. I'm just glad they kept Pikachu's voice. I got PO when they had replaced even his voice for that horrible mirage movie. Well sorry for ranting and all ^_^;; I hope to hear you in more anime titles. I really enjoyed what few episodes of Slayers I got to watch on tv. keep up the good work. |

| Comments: | Hello Veronica once again. You may not remember me, but I am the person who you emailed back and forth for a time in mid-2006. This was about the time that I heard of the dub change, which I am so sorry about, thouh I have known about it for so long. I came across your website in Wikipedia and remembered talking to you a long time ago about the 8th movie, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero, Rukario!) when it was coming out on DVD.
I would seriously like to impress on you the importance of your existence in many people's lives as well as mine. You were a spark in the lives of many with your voice acting and dubbing, which I praise with highest regard, but and utterly lugubrious at the new cast, though they do a fine job. As my other fans with me do agree, you do far better than the new cast, and I believe that they do fine, though I would like to see you also reappear within the fine depths in which Pokémon is beheld. I know how much people are asking of you to rejoin the group although Pokémon USA and Norman Grossfield won't reconsider, though I bet if enough fans want you back and bring it to a stand, like we tried to do, we can bring you and the others back for a season for a 2nd debut trial run at the Pokémon anime. | Comments: | Hi Veronica. After I took a break from watching Pokemon since I was getting older, now 16, i started watching Pokemon D/P to relive some old memories. As I switched to cartoon network after finding out it was no longer on kidswb, i saw ash. Ash began to talk, and I expected to hear the same voice I had heard from the beginning of Pokemon (and i loved listening to your voice, it never got old) and to my surprise, this disgusting horrible voice was heard, and that was ... sarah natochenny. I really hope one day the producers of Pokemon or whoever is in charge decides to hire you again. I don't even watch the shows mainly because of the disgusting voices. Of course, if it were you doing Ash's voice, I'd reconsider. Well... thanks for reading. |

I hope PUSA will recast you as Ash and the others to their original roles. When they fired you guys, PUSA took a part of my childhood.
