I will never forget I was coming home from Niagara Falls with my boyfriend, when I heard on the radio that she had been shot.. I didnt know she passed away until a couple hours later (The drive is 4 hours from where I live in Upstate NY).. I cried, I cried and cried some more.. I am part Mexican, I love to sing, and I am also an Aries, just like Selena.. Many of the same things people see in me, I seen in her (A million times better though).. I still play her music in my car, loud..LOL.. Nothing like 'Ven Comigo' in the morning to get you going.. Now I made a new fan, my 5 year old son.. I was about 7 or 8 when she died but I loved her music.I only wish she was here today so that she could still be doing what she loved to do, which is sing. and I wish she could of had her big family she wanted. | Comments: | Selena was a very important singer to a lot of people. And when I grew up, I learned about Selena and I could not resist watching the movie that they made about her life. And when I saw that movie, I felt so, bad for Selena and her family. and I knew how they felt that their daughter, not including her as a singer, but their daughter, was dead and that I know how they felt and I know from this day and forward, I know that they always cry because they miss her and more to the parents of Selena. And second would be the rest of her family, and third would be her fans from all around the world. And feel really bad for those that got to go and see her so much, that they are the people that miss her the most. And I miss her to even though I didn't know about her until I got older. And one of the most important, awesome thing about Selena and my Dad compared is that one day at the rodeo, my Dad was going to sing for the people that were there. And what suprised me the most Selena was there and my Dad was going to sing, but, my dad ended up getting sick and he missed his chance of singing. So I hope evryone doesn't feel that bad, but I know that Selenas parents feel worse than anyhting, i mean they feel horrible.
