| Comments: | I had the wonderful experience of meeting Jon Tenney while in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago - where? I'll never tell - as THAT would be totally nonprofessional, but I can tell you this - he has the kindest eyes I've ever seen and a handshake that shows such character and strength - be it inward or outward. Although I knew who he was - I did not "pounce" on him or even let him know that I did know who he was. I did not use the opportunity to get an autograph or anything - just having the God given grace to meet him was enough for me - and yes, I did wash my hands after using the restroom - in case someone says "You can never wash your hands again!". rofl - If he were to ever read this, I would like him to know that the impression he left was one of kindness and authenticity - not fleeting and fake. The Closer has an interesting premise: a stubborn woman with no female friends is surrounded by weak males. The show should prove to be a big hit with closet bulldykes everywhere. |

| Comments: | jon! i just started watching the closer on tv, and saw the name jon tenney on the credits. i wondered if it was possible if it was the same jon tenney i knew as a kid in princeton when i attended creative theatre for youth. i went to this web sight and saw that indeed you were from princeton, and about my age. i guess it is you! very cool. congrats on a wonderful career. you were also in a few plays my mom directed...amie brockway. i guess that would have been with street theatre. anyway... i thought it was cool that i made the connection as i wouldn't have recognized you just by looks. after all, it has probably been more than 30 years since i saw you. best of luck and continued success to you and yours.
