| Comments: | I just read the terrible, terrible news about Syncro in the updates. He was a true talent. He obviously put a tremendous amount of effort and care into his work, and it paid off. His pictures were smooth, flawless, well proportioned (once you conceded that the women would have outsized proportions! :-P). Each picture told its own cruel story. I especially liked how he would explore characters like ElectraWoman and Emma Peel, who may not be as familiar to younger readers but meant a lot to those of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s. It looks like he was experimenting with sequels and storytelling over the last couple of years. We'll never know where this would have gone. He will be greatly missed. |

Perhaps Scarlet you should create an e-book of condolence even if its still using our online names as a mark of respect from those of us who have made requests, encouraged and conversed with Syncro over the years. Let his wife know that what he did here was genuinely liked and appreciated. As this site is also usually up for online bondage awards he should be given even greater posthumous recognition by the community.

It is with a heavy heart that I must pass along some terrible news. Syncro's wife has written me and informed me that he, one of The Wizard's Lair's most productiver and much beloved contributors, passed away on April 26. He went to buy groceries and never returned home. He was hit by a car. Syncro and his wife had four kids and spent 31 years together. My heart goes out to Syncro's family for their loss. Syncro's talent will be missed by this genre as well! The days, months, and years ahead of us have lost some of their brightness. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Scarlet |

Loving the latest Electrowoman art from Syncro although i'd love to see a alteration of the peril where EW is turned the face the other way with DG's guide rope attached to EW waist instead of the crotch rope. Replace the block with 2 narrow beams set wide apart and a crotch slapping machine between the beams and some kind of whirling blades/circular saw the other side of DG. All this of course is to make EW press herself against the slapping machine to save DG from death contraption whilst trying to stay on the beams to prevent hanging herself. Of course the duo will find someway of escaping, but hopefully not for 30mins or so :P Anyways.. Good job to all contributing henchies and Scarlett for keeping this great place going. |

Thanks everyone who is coming and leaving their comments. I am sure that everyone involved with TWL greatly appreciates them. However, there has been a thread here that I believe I need to comment upon, and that is the wish for Syncro to have his own webpage. Trust me when I say that running a webpage is a LOT of work! My heart goes out to Scarlet Witch for all the work that she has to do here, which is now much more now that I have retired, and she is doing it by herself. Syncro is a very talented artist, who I am very grateful to be here at TWL. Those that say that they wish he had a website of his own because DA banned him are failing to understand just how much work a web page is. DA was basically a site where you could upload images to a page. There was no html code, no arranging of cells, no font fixing, no spell checking, no creation of thumbs, no linking of images to the thumbs, no loading of images up into a FTP, no creation and maintenance of FTP directories, and on and on. TWL is the perfect spot for Syncro, and other 2D and 3D artists because we do not have to worry about 2257 legislation here for such images. Now, we do cater primarily here to superheroines and that genre, so for someone running art in a different genre will not really find a gallery here from TWL, though we have, on occassion, allowed our regular artists to slip in non-genre material from time to time to spice up their gallery pages. In any case, I feel that if Syncro would be to open up his own webpage, his creative output would dramatically decrease, because of the time it would take to set up the webpage that some of you are requesting. I still have no real good clue on why people would want him to leave this website that he has been at for all this time now, if no other reason than as a "oh yeah... take THAT, Deviant Art!" type of statement. But, what would that do to the rest of the folks that come here to look for such FREE quality material?? Anywho... Thanks again to Syncro and Scarlet Witch and everyone else here that makes The Wizard's Lair such a great website! Good luck to all in the story contest!! Vladi the Wizard |

Yes I agree with dinky that it's a pity Syncro dosen't have his own site and the banning of him by DevianArt beggared belief when you see what can still get posted there by comparison. It's all so good and it's indeed a pity we can't see more. Particularly Love the LOTG, Zatana and when he does it the SHADO UFO ones.If he had the time as I've also said I've thought characters like Buffy as well as Defender would be a great addition to the Syncro portfolio and I wouldn't be suprised if he could do a better Paula Peril than Atlantis Studios does in their peril potraits. |

I'm doing everything with an old version of Daz Studio 3 no postwork. Can do the same with 3DSmax, and it look like real person but it take much longer to create and many hours just for rendering. I'm not using a big computer and don't have much time left beside my job and family. This is the reason why i'm using Daz Studio, fast to learn, to

| Comments: | Bit suprised here that Sarah Michelle Gellar AKA Buffy The Vampire Slayer has not to date had the Syncro treatment as a suggestion. She is perfect foil and a guy going by the alias AKAWW did some Buffy based gems a while back but which are a bit tame now by the standards of todays graphics http://members.tripod.com/~akaww_tribute/
I can personally imagine a scene in which our slayer finds herself sitting bound/chained hands (behind back) and foot (gag optional) with the bonds connecting to link a wall and feet tetherted to the floor so she's fixed to a spot in a crypt while she awaits in dread the sun going down through a small opening/window when the coffins near her will open and she's the first thing on the Vampire menu for the day! (There are so many possibilities with that characerl as well perhaps the other character Faith played by Eliza Dushku.) I personally like to see her in something like a tight sweater (as here http://www.flickr.com/photos/wzrdreams/3836718878/in/photostream/ )with jeans, trainers, or sweater color matching cowgirl boots or legwarmwers. But thats just my take on the attire:) |

Some sort of Cowgirl Sheriff who keeps on trying to lasso THE WIZARD only to get her gun(s) and boots taken from her. The lasso she carries is used to keep her bound. Her neckerchief keeps her gagged. She also would be perfect for the railroad tracks or the buzz-saw perils. |

I made a promise when I first started that I would never make anyone pay a penny for this material. That was said with tongue in cheek. Anyway, that was the third comment that I have had this week where someone was complaining about updates being "late". However, we (Scarlet and I) do have lives and "real" jobs outside of the Lair, and sometimes they intrude on updating the Lair to the satisfaction of us all. Sorry, but such is life. In any case, we still average an update a week, which is two more updates then originally planned (an update every two weeks), or promised (once a month).
