Just got my General last week and am anxious to get started but lack a LOT OF KNOWLEDGE, even at my age (67). My father was a HAM back in the 50's, 60's and 70's and I used to watch him - now, times have changed, he is gone and I wish to God I would have become active with him back then but didn't so it's my loss and I'm trying to catch up as fast as possible.

You have a very nice web-site except that rotating clock is enough to drive you nuts.If you remember I was telling you that I used to have a Webster Bandspanner years ago and also had a Mosley Lancer mobile antenna which was vy gud. Maury,W4HYB and I were room mates at Valpo Tech 50 yrs ago.
