He died at the age of 8yo. He was 138lbs and had contracted heartworm disease. I always felt it was my fault for not giving him the pills regularly. I did treat the heartworms--they use Arsenic. It was horrible! He had gotten a high fever and about a week after treatment he died--at home. At least he was peaceful, in his sleep. Holly |
