| Comments: | Not to hurt what you are doing, but Persephone never wanted to be with Hades, and the earth did not suffer because of it. Please do not hurt Greek Mythology, it is not a Celtic story nor Norse.
More over, Phantom, by Susan Kay, is not based on Leroux. If it were she would have read the Epilogue, where it mentions Erik knew his father and his father helped to chase him away. Most of her story does not fit into the timeline of Leroux's novel. Perhaps the Church has not read the original like an English Major. Phantom in Manhattan is just the same as Phantom, a way to freely speak about a topic that is no longer protected by copyright. At least in the novel we learn some factual things about the story. Leroux's story had many mistakes in it too. Why don't you mention them? |
