Comments:Hi,
I really like your site and the nice painted figures. Your tips on painting are also very interesting. Give us some tips on how to assemble the Conte Vikings you showed us. I used some real tiny thin screws. I cut off the end of the head, then sharpened it on my grinder to a point, applied some good epoxy cement and screwed the arm or shield on to the figure. It holds real well and I don't have to worry about it falling off.As a primer for the same plastic type figures I use a product called "Plastic Coat HM101" by Lion Paints, which I got from "The Toy Soldier Company". If your weopons happen to bend, the paint will not chip or crack off. I always use acrylic paints, Delta Creamcoat works well and I also use some old Armory Paints I still have on hand. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Dan Lopez
