well done guys,can you tell me why on your fixture list why they dont include supers,mini stocks or stock cars...maybe its because you are trying to get grids for the bangers bigger than 9.Dont you realise that you p*** off the other members big time and if you add together the membership of s\c,m\s and supers you will see that each of these classes had bigger grids than bangers for most of the 2006 season..put it right

apart from Warton the only other track that races outlaws is Blyton in Lincolnshire,tho they run differant regulations than Warton...engines all pinto,single downdraght carb,and symetrical chassis with engine dead centre,etc

As far as we can all remember it has always been an open meeting for everyone with interests in warton and racing to attend but with only members allowed to vote.

yep a normal meetin with junior bangers, 2litres, stockcars and a support so wot does it leave for support yep super bangers therefore normal domestic meetin

Seen as though barrow has closed which i am very disapointed about wish it hadn't of happened brilliant track. Anyway back to my point why not start rookies/junior bangers full time at warton not replacing the ministocks but have both, like barrow do. I understand that there are many classes and you do not have night lights so on but couldn't these be a new thing for 2007? Even if you were to put them on more as alot of warton junior drivers don't do minis and what are they going to do now barrow has closed aswell? Maybe just have more than 3 meetings a year for the juniors have about 5 or so?

Further to my posting on 7 August and my recent discussions with the Vice Chairman, Gerald, and Stock Car Driver, Peter Fawcett, I would like to confirm the invitation to Warton Stock Cars to race at Barrow at the meeting on Sunday 3rd September, 2006.
The meeting start time is 1.00 p.m. and we would arrange a practice session, 2 Heats, a Final and Grand National for the Stock Cars. The cost to race would be £15 but we would put £10 of that into a prize fund for the Stock Cars. There would also be free entry for 1 mechanic and the club will provide trophies. Suggested split of prize fund would be as follows : 10% to each Heat Winner, 10% to 3rd in Final, 20% to 2nd in Final, 35% to Final Winner, 15% to Grand National Winner. Please email me if you would like to race at jccarruthers@btinternet.com before 6 p.m. on Tuesday 29.8.06 (so we can confirm in race programme). Thanks.
