Its success is directly attributed to the support you have given the Shriners Hospitals for Children charity by promoting the event in your magazine and dedicating last weeks show toward showing our motorcycle community what goes on within the walls of our Tampa facility. Tonight we can all sleep a little better knowing that children in need continue to receive the specialty medical care they deserve free of cost and that the toys collected will make their stays in our hospital a little more tolerable. | Comments: | I was just looking at some comments made earlier on abt Bike shows....Husband & I go to alot of them. So far I have won 1st or 2nd place at every bike show we have went too. As well as his bike also. Cant and wont be able to say how HAPPY I am for winning the big one at Plant City last sat night. The thing of it is, In a millions years would of never had expected to get that one. But i did. I think from my emotions everyone knew how happy i was I did. We have been going to Plant City for 2 yrs now at least every mth. We usely stay away for a mth or two and then go back. Mostly because we own a racing series & a video production Buss. and we cant always be there, but also because i am always adding new stuff to the bike. My husband and I are not friends with Randy & Wendy or the staff. So there was no favortism going on there. But we know of them by going there, and they just all make you feel good by being there, with their kindness.......... I had entered in the Ladies & Metric class. When my name was not called, I was upset. Specially Ladies class. You know why? Because I said to myself. There is no way, those 6 bikes beat me. One was a bike right of the show room floor, nothing special or anything done to it. And the other one was so ugly & old & plain. And the other one was just okay. And the other 2 bikes were great. And then my bike was surrounded all day & night. But you never know if the judges see that part. I dont mind to get beat as long as JUDGES, TAKE NOTICE on show room floor bikes, nothing special done to it, or the bike is just down right dirty, at least clean it. AND THERE IS NOTHING WORST THAN A TRAILERED IN BIKE, did not even actually ride it there. My point is....When i didnt win out of one of the classes I was upset til I won the big one. But now I know I would of probally had gotten one of the others if I had not gotten the big one. Went the next day to webster and won 1st place there. So i was on a role...and then went to another one at EAST BAY RACEWAY and won 1st place over there. As they said you dont have to have a $20,000 bike. Its just the little things you do or can do to them. We dont have alot of money, so we do what ever we can, when we can. I have alot of health issues. And not really sure how much time I have.. So when I win the little ones,,I am still so happy abt that. But when i won the big one. Really was good my health....... Thanks again SO MUCH to RANDY - WENDY & STAFF SINCERLY ALWAYS SUSAN |

How obvious is that? maybe they don't like the owner of the bike and its something personal. At plant city Bike fest I overheard Randy tell a competitor that they wanted to give others a chance to win too. I feel like whoever has the nicest bike should win. Even if it's the same winner every week until something nicer comes along. Are you awarding trophies to the well deserved winners or just awarding trophies to the people you feel bad for? I thought that was very dishonest and someone should do something about it. It was confirmed when the trophies where awarded. Perfect Example: Don't get me wrong... I ride a Harley! Do you honestly think that a stock cruiser deserved 1st place in the ladies category when there was this bad ass Pink Crotch Rocket competing in the ladies category as well. Come on guys!! | Comments: | Rock Out Cancer Benefit for Theresa Winter On July 13th the bikers and the bands really came out to rock Boomerz! I didn’t get a head count but Boomerz (which is a large lounge) was completely full. Plus there were people wondering around outside checking out the parking lot which was packed full of motorcycles. The best local music in the area was there. This was the best benefit I’ve ever been to, and it was for me! First I want to thank Trudy and Ed from Boomerz who put this all together alone. They worked so hard, spending time & money to get this thing done. I will be eternally grateful. Also the great hard working staff at Boomerz. 2nd I want to thank all the bands who rocked the house.
