I took VERY good care of my LPS. My animals are in plastic cases with separated sections and the buildings and habitats are all in plastic bags. My problem was that I didn't know what kennel or habitat and accessory went with each animal. This website will help me out a ton! I have the solid light brown sealion and the brown desert parakeet. These were standard in Australia. I have 4 boys all grown so I have never heard of these cute little toys but I bought it anyway as it looked as if they sold well on eBay. After looking at what was selling I soon realized that I had different LPS than the plentiful lots available. Low & behold they were all Kenner LPS & original sets (I might add at this point that they were a mixed up mess all thrown into a box) 1000's of pieces. Now some people would have sold this little cuties in a big lump lot but I considered it a challenge to see what was in there. I went to google and there you were! Thank God! I have currently put together about 62 sets, nothing totally complete but really close. I also was able to identify the rare mail order light brown monkey because of your info. I will be listing this lot @ auction on eBay in the near future. I hope you don't mind but I would love to credit your site so the community of LPS collectors who don't know your there can find you. Etoile Bless you for making this website! I'm still going through all the pictures and they're bringing back so many wonderful memories! My sixth birthday was in 1992 and all I wanted was Littlest Pet Shop...my parents got me the whole line from that year. I don't think I realized then just how lucky I was! I ADORED those toys and would play with them for hours at a crack. I'm still looking through the pictures...I definitely had all of '92, most of '93 from what I see so far...probably a little more if I keep browsing. Unfortunately, I no longer have any of them. I think I had so many sets that it became a storage problem so when I was older I made the decision to throw them out. :( Now I really regret it. (I also got rid of my old G1 My Little Ponies as well...they were my love before LPS.) Once in a while, though, if I'm going through old things I find a piece or two that got separated from the rest of my collection before the big throw-out. It's not much, but I treasure them. If ever I were to recollect I wouldn't try to restore my entire collection...just the '92 line, as I really cherished it. I remember when they "brought back" LPS a few years ago and I'm horrified. The "new" LPS looks absolutely nothing like what I grew up with. The toys I remember were very charming and beautiful. These new ones are just ugly. What's with the oversized heads and the deranged eyes? And why are they so much larger than they used to be? I suppose they're less of a choking hazard than they were in my day, but they're certainly not as lovable. I feel really sorry for the little girls of today...they don't know what they missed! I imagine by the time I become a mom (I'm only 23, give me a few years...) I couldn't find a great website that showed all the vintage one until I found yours. I cannot believe all of the pets they released! I have hardly anything compared to the collection. I think the originals were best then they got a little weak repeating them with different colors. I do not like the ones they sell today.
