| Comments: | I love you guys. Without this translation, I'd be shelling out hundreds of dollars for the manga (which I want to do some day anyway...). I also don't think I would of been able to take the wait inbetween buying books. I absoutly LOVED this series (Ranma 1/2 that is). I read all the manga, seen all the TV series, all the OVA's and all the movies. I did this over the course of about a month this past summer vacation. I could of gone faster, but the episodes wouldn't download fast enough :-P
I'm just in love with these guys, Akane, Ranma... When I was going through the books, I had nothing but nonstop thoughts of them. I still feel a ping of pain when I think about then end. It brought TEARS to my eyes, and there's rarly something that does that. |

When I get back, I open the bookmarked page and hear that the server was charging $3000 of all its sites, so they moved the R.S.P. to a new site. Now, I have no problem with bookmarking a new page, but why does this site ask for a username and password when I try to access any of the mangas? They used to be free. And how do you sign up for a username anyway? Doesn't a system like that kind of defeat the purpose? As a great fan of Ranma 1/2, I beseech you to please reply to these questions. Judging from the other entries in your guestbook, I know I'm not the only one who feels as though we're banging our heads against a stone wall. No point in posting the mangas if no one can get to them, you know. And if it is our fault (like a problem with our software or something like that) that is preventing us from accessing these mangas, could you at least tell us what it is we're doing wrong? Your stony silence is very hurtful to us, and surely it can't take that much effort to type out a reason for the problem. |

| Comments: | One thing I forgot to mention (gomen) - files already on Kazaa are in .pdf format (kazaa won't show zips unless you specifically search through a user's directory).
Guess I'll try to make .pdfs as well as zips (you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader). To find any zips I might make, run a search for Slayers Premium (a file not many have on kazaa that I do), find my user name (lordofkrikkit@kazaa), right click, select "find more from same," "user," and download the Ranma zips. Might be a hassle, but I'll try it for now. Sorry for posting so much. Gomen nasai! ^_^ |

I pulled down volume 1 (pages 1 & 3-181), zipped it, and have it on Kazaa now, although books (Volumes) 1, 2, 5, 6 & 7 are already available it seems. I have Volumes 17 - 38 on another computer, and will put them on Kazaa when I can (probably right after Christmas), or sooner if I can get the zips elsewhere. Files are about 32 megs each.
Many, many, many thanks both to those who've gone through the great effort of translating these, posting them in the past, and posting them now. You are all truly great. Again, thanks. ^_^ |

Also in "manga reader III" I found an mistake in a link. In book 26 page 183 the image has an error. That is because the link is mistaken: instead of calling a jpg file which is the correct extension, it's calling a gif. So you only nead to change the extension of the link. | Comments: | An incredible site. Even though I read Japanese and therefore do not require this site I still think it's incredible and am extremely happy for all those english-only readers who are finally able to enjoy this wondrous manga.
I did catch an unholy nuber of translation errors, but none were serious. Except for one at the very end, in which I think it changed the entire direction of the ending. Maybe I'm overreacting, but... IMPORTANT NOTICE: In the final manga volume (#38), in the final 2 pages of the story (174-175), the correct translation of the final line in the story does not read "And so, the wedding was postponed... but only for a little while." It in fact reads, "And so, the wedding was cancelled... AT LEAST for a little while." I probably shouldn't raise this fuss, but I feel that the wording of that error constrains the loophole that Rumiko Takahashi wrote into the finalé. *Sheepish shrug* Just an observation. I myself have already begun writing volume 39, but that's another story (it won't be fit for release for another year at least). Fanfictions are more my speed, I've written millions of them on almost every Anime imaginable. | Comments: | Change file format from *.jpeg and *.gif to acrobat file which has a smaller size than. The recommend size for one volume is 4 MB. No need bigger because this enough for reading well. If it too large it will too slow to download. |
