Thanks for the insight into your world. Reading your page has assisted me in concluding on a decision. I was a little aprehensive because I thought it will be a "punk move" to have surgery. Hello, i can really relate to your story. I am 23 african american married with 3 children. I have always been a big girl. And I have always been told you are such a pretty big girl. Well I weigh 285 and I just had my last child who is 2mths old. I am stopping at three. Well I plan on having my surgery in November or December in New Orleans Louisiana, I am from lafayette Louisiana. I saw you're site and you seem like a really cool person.I am a caucasion girl who just turned 16, and i've been struggling with weight my whole life. I got up to 290 this summer, and i just told myself it was time to make a change! And, with the support of friends and family, i got up everyday jumped on the treadmill and ran, what little i could. Yeah, it was really hard, but at the end of the day i felt like I had accomplished something other than eating everything on my plate. There were days when I'd screw up, but eventually it started to pay off. I,ve only lost 20 pounds so far, but hey that's still 20 pounds right? Anyways just know that you have one more person to support you (even if she is only 16,LOL). Don't ever give up you deserve sooo much better! | |
