Do you ever talk to Dave anymore? How are you doing? Just ran across your page (which is cool by the way), best wishes and good to see you on the net. The shop closed for good in 05, Dave Morris the co-owner has been in really poor health, I still visit with him but he has not been able to ride since then, I miss the old gang. I still tinker, but not like the old days, I have a new shop, but it is mostly welding and fabrication, I have not built a bike since 2000, but I did name it after yours. cool informative stuff. Have you ever heard of Native Americans in Biological Sciences? It was a science camp for Jr.and high school students, who were Native Americans. Now, the camp fizzled out in '98. This camp was funded by Hughes Foundation. Maybe this camp can be revived. It was very educational for the students. This past summer, some of the parents asked why the camp didn't exist anymore, and simply told them it fizzled out. I was an Expert Consultant, Media & Documentation, for the camp. I recently graduated from Northeastern State University, with a Master's. But I was just inquiring, maybe you might here of it coming back. I know you would have been a asset to the camp, if it was still existing. Keep up the good work on the website. (do you have any powwow pictues, or Indian music, "Yellowhammer"?) |
