Crayons is incredible but Crack in the Mirror is so powerful, it is hard to listen to even after multiple times. If I am brave enough, I'll enroll in next year's songwriting class at Kerrville. (I briefly met you at the mini-Kerrville a year ago at Dick Walker and Leon Peek's Camp Sweetness and Light. And was privileged enough to hear your performance at this year's big Kerrville.) It is a long drive from Oregon but it has been wonderfully worth it. |

Boy does tempus ever fugit. Lookin' out at the snow here in Issaquah, WA, reminds me a bit of the Virginia snows that bound me to the red cabin on Craigs Creek. I love her composition ' Long Bed From Kenya' and am trying to get hold of her album from 1993 ' Peaceful Existence' I have the Joan Baez version of this song. I would dearly love to own all of Betty's albums., also I would love 'Long Bed From Kenya' to be featured on YouTube.
