| Comments: | Alright, I know this might sound ridiculous, but here goes. I met this guy at a Marilyn Manson concert in San Antonio on like, March 22, 2000 - I think. We were in the very front row together and talked for a long time before the show and between sets. He was wearing a Marilyn Manson shirt - the one that says "Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll" on it, and black fishnets on his arms. He had pale skin, black hair, and beautifully pale blue eyes that might have been contacts. I had on this necklace with about 20 glass teardrops with mushrooms inside that he seemed to be very fond of. I always remember thinking he was a little strange because he wiped some of the fake blood off my face and licked it off his fingers while looking at me. Anyways, his name was David, and he was from Marble Falls, TX. He was there with a few friends, and was writing down his number for me when his friends pulled him away. Left with no hope of finding out who this guy was, I left resignedly. A few months later I was at an Academy here in Austin, and I started talking with the salesman, I think his name was Brian (he had a long scar across his face and seemed very shy about letting me see that half of his face while we talked). As we talked it came up that he was from Marble Falls and I asked him about this David guy, and he said he thought he knew who I was talking about, that he was the younger brother of one of his friends (I think), and that his last name was Instone (I guessed on the spelling). I held onto this information, and I guess it sort of slipped to the back of my mind because I never thought I would find him. Well, it's about 2:40 in the morning here in Austin, and I was just thinking about an article I had read about how girls and guys are now "googling" their dates to see what the site brings up on them. On a whim I typed in David Instone Marble Falls TX. Nothing. So I just typed in David Instone and got some crap about an author or journalist. Then a few down I saw something with David Instone and then the words Marilyn Manson, and the coincidence made my stomach drop - would I be able to find out who this mystery man was after all theses years? So I guess that's why I'm emailing you, to see if you are, in fact, the David that I met so many years ago. With my luck your email has changed and you don't even update this site anymore. Well, anyways, I just thought I'd give it a shot, and I'd love to hear back from you if you are that David, and if you're not, well, you can email me anyways just to let me know. I have a picture of myself from around that time period on this computer if you wanted it. Alright, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for a miracle.
