She will guide Wyn on her journey to Rainbow Bridge. It broke my heart to think that Wyn may have been pining for her old family, and you may be right, she will wait happily for them at Rainbow Bridge, but I'm sure you believe as I do that, even though you were together for such a short time, Wyn was happy to be with someone who loved her at the end. How can people who have owned a dog for 16 years abandon it the way those people(?)did with Wyn? I can't comprehend something like that. At that time in a dogs life, they need all the love and care possible. What low lifes. I just have to say how much I enjoy reading your emails to the sheltie club. A year ago (July 26) I lost my best friend, a 14 yr old sheltie named Penny, to cancer. I lost my mind for a while, then I decided that I could do nothing for my precious Penny since she was over the rainbow bridge, but I could help shelties whom no one wants. I adopted three rescue shelties, each with medical problems, got them vetted, and they are darlings, doing better and well loved. Then I started helping with sheltie rescue. Everytime I get depressed and ready to give up, I think of you and your wild bunch and I am encouraged. Thanks for what you do. You are helping more shelties than you realize. I have a Sheltie who was 5 years of age this April.He has been sick all his life & was the only one of the litter who lived. He keeps getting sores on him, has arthritis & thyroid problems & if he stands for very long his right leg trimbles. I love him so much tho. He is so sweet. I wouldn't take anything for him.
