My dear, the candle spells are very real. I know that to those new to ye anciente crafte of ye wicce, some of my stuff may seem hard to understand but believe me, those spells were passed down through the generations. Do you suffer from constipation my love? Well, even though you're vegetarian, you still need to eat lots of prunes, that will keep you regular. joke, I feel that it is very dangerous to any potential "new comer". If someone surfs into a page other then your splash page, they may think that you are being serious and try some of these stupid things. I think it would benefit you and anyone who might see your website to put a HUGE disclaimer on each and every page stating that this is all a joke and should not be taken seriously! One more thing before I go...shame on you for telling unsuspecting women to insert a candle in their "you know what" for candle magic!! That is totally wrong, disgusting and definitely NOT FUNNY!! You're sick for making that up! This website does not deserve to be on the Net!!!!!! |

You find your spirit guide the good old fashion way-studying shamanism an astral travel and....just forget it. Judging from this site, you probably have no clue of what I'm talking about. Just because my opinions are a little different to others, you don't have to be nasty about it. There's loads of other wicca sites out there and I'm sure there's some that are just right for you. I really don't know where people are coming from with this "joke" or "spoof" thing? Surely my ways are not that different from others? |
| Name: | Alexis |
| Comments: | I am hoping this site is one huge spoof, because I couldn't help think if it isn't that Willow is slightly retarded or has something very wrong with her. If she thinks a few sentances on a website sum up the whole of Wicca then the first two words of any sacred book should sum up any other religion on Earth too right? I hope for the sake of humanity this site is one large joke. |

| Comments: | Feather Dancer,
I concur with LightDragon's discourse on why so many people have been having problems with Willow's site. I first visited after Irena posted here, but never deigned to show an opinion, in fact, I'm still teetering on the edge of thinking the whole thing a gigantic spoof. The problem for us is quite alot of Willows information is simply incorrect, and it's frightening to us that so many young ones are believing it, we only want to make sure that you know the information is out there and available to you. That's all. Regards, Elle |

| Comments: | Dear Feather Dancer,
Welcome to the wonderful world of the Neo-paganism. sorry if this sounds sarcastic. But it this is reality. The reason a lot of people here are being nasty to Willow is that they don`t acknowlege her as a true witch. and they have major disagreements with her knowledge.when you put up a website or get a book published you get this. Even among certain witches. Gerald B. Gardner(first witch to become public) had clashes with Doreen Valiente. I believe one was where she accused him of using some rituals from the Gospel of Aradia. in their own way they are trying to help her not hurt her. As an old saying goes :the road to hell is paved with good intentions. One of the reasons the American Council of Witches only lasted a year or so is because of fighting. They did manage to create the 13 ardanes. I`m in major disagreements with Willow's work. Certain astral beings i work (not faeries although they do come into my house occasionly)with confirm she is a true witch. the problem is she having problems communicating and is not showing she has knowledge of conventional Wicca/Druidism/etc. I`m in disagreement with the zoo spell because i believe that it is harming the animals and possibly the person who is doing the spell. The candle magick part where you stick the candle you-know where for oil.I`m assuming she's talking about the vagina. another variety is to use to take the "oil" after sexual stimulation with your hands and smear the candle with it. For guys use your sperm. If this is grossing you out I`m sorry, but these are the facts. . Right now she is really mad and hurt. on a positive aspect she is learning. One girl who worked with the same beings i worked with went astray. She secretly set some people after me. It backfired on her. Willow needs to be more open. and to learn. Raymond Buckland has been studying Neo-paganism and magick for over 40 years and is still learning. |

| Comments: | I just read my email. WHAT LOSERS. I hate people who are not nice people. And you gave me all that great info and now it's gone. LOSERS. Did you scry and find out who they were? You can do a binding on them and have their fingers fall off if they ever try to bug you again. That's what I would do. Make their fingers fall off, then everyone would know what losers they are. Losers
*sigh* Are you going to put up a new forum? I hope so. You have so much to share with everyone. I think you are so cool. I think that people who are mean to you are just jealous cuz you know so much, probably more than they will ever know and that kills them so they have to be mean to you. I will send nice thoughts your way...butterflies and candycanes and rainbow faeries with sugarcoated lips, and not bad breath like my dad. What a loser. Wicked |

| Comments: | waaaaaa...what happen to the forum?
I need to tell you that I did a spell last night and boy is my brother in a whole lot of trouble. Since there were no zoos around here, my brother helped me to break into the neighbors barn to see if horses were also my totem animal. Willow, I know you said that the wolf and the frog were my totem, but I really love horses. But the guy who owns the barn called the cops and they came to our house looking for my brother. Boy, is my dad mad. My brother took off and we haven't seen him since. So, would that be like the binding spell you told me to do on him? I hope he stays away except everyone is so mad. But not me. He is such a loser. Good riddence is all I say! I'm so glad my spell worked, only it kind of backfired cuz I didn't do a binding. I was only trying to do the summoning of thine totem animal spell. I still don't know if horses are my totem, so I'm just going to add them to my list of totem animals, ok? Maybe you could scry again and see if horses are my totem too. I hope the forum comes back soon. I guess I'll try the binding spell on my parents like you told me to, except I don't know what I did in the first place to get my brother out of the house. But the way my parents for fighting, maybe they will get a divorce. I'll probably have to go live with my mom cuz my dad is such a loser. Willow, hurry and put the forum back up, please. I need you to tell me what to do. Wicked |

I can't wait for your forum to be up. I know there will be lots and lots and lots of people interested learning your tradition of Wicca. I mean, being initiated by someone high up in Modern Wicca is pretty impressive, and taking just the best of all trads is a cool idea. I know I'm impressed. And your knowledge of Wicca is stimulating, to say the least. I would never have thought to put a candle up my you-know-what in order to oil it (thanks for the technical term). Oh, if you have any recipes for lard and perfume essential oils, I would die for it. I don't like going to stores to buy my oils and would love to make my own. I will check back often for updates and can't wait for your residential training program to come online. Oh Goddess, grant me the patience to wait. *sigh* I remain your faithful pupil WWoftheW |

I'm not pro-fluff, I'm just sick of having my own white-light, nonscholarly path delegitimised by having it called "fluffbunny". Scholarship is for you if you want to be scholarly, reliance on history is for you if you want to be a reconstructionist, and I'm free to dispense with those things when my path isn't concerned with them. It's not that I advocate pseudohistory--I don't--but my own path is expressly nonscholarly. Lumping my own path with fluffbunnidom and complaining that it isn't scholarly is like saying, "this cake isn't sharp"--cakes aren't about sharpness or bluntness, and my path isn't about research and historical roots and intellectual growth. Anyway, all of you, fluffies, nonfluffies, traditionals, eclectics, recons-- like Sannion, I've grown tired of all this warring and I'm closing the phalanx and going home to fill up my life and website with positive things: http://eclecticsatyr.hostultra.com/endww.htm It was fun while it lasted but I now must move on to higher things. Thank you for the challenge when I took it, anyway. Blessed be. HD |

Also having different backgrounds and different colors on every page takes away from what you are trying to say. I do not agree with some of the content on your site... ok most of it. About the stuff he wrote about you on his site... most people realize that it's just his opinion. And Opinion dose not equal fact.

| Comments: | Thanks for the question. I will be adding a recommended reading list soon so look out for that. Reading books is great, and you've read some good ones there, but you need to find a good teacher or coven for some proper training. A brilliant book is by the herditory Cornish Witch Mayse Cotteridge, called "Old stones and parsley" : ) |

| Comments: | HD,
I have been to your site and respect your position. I commend you on your eloquence and the thought you've put behind your position. But I honestly cannot believe that, judging from what you've written on the Eclectic Satyr (most notably on aafbb.html) that just because you are anti-antifluff, you are pro-fluff. You look at the Stupid Site Awards as a source for good sites? You must be joking. I don't think you understand the point of the SSA, and that is the same point of http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com - learning about good design by learning from bad design. Sometimes, it's just as important to show what NOT to do as it is to show what TO do. And while I commend your earnest effort to bring some love to the fluffers (gods know they need it), you're not helping them by advocating their fluffiness, and you're not helping the Neopagan community at large by perpetuating willful ignorance (jâhiliyyah)! I urge you to reconsider not your standpoint (while I disagree, I respect your position), but whom you stand against. If you're going to stand against both fluff and anti-fluff, then don't side with fluff. Be your own self, and start your own movement. Who knows, it might catch fire. But siding with the fluffies, and saying that every SSA I give is a winner in your book, is folly, and you as a sensible intelligent individual should be ashamed to surround yourself with the willfully ignorant. Cheers, Obsidian |

Compliment acknowledged, Irena, and your website visited. Another run-of-the-mill anti-fluffbunny crap site. By the way, for your information (on "Being Wiccan"): being Wiccan is not predicated on knowledge of the Qabbalah or Tarot Cards. Those things are Abrahamic occultism. Wicca can do very well without any occultism at all. The Wicca I practice is all about nature worship and a personal relationship with the Goddess and the God--no occultism here whatsoever. Blessed be, Willow. HD |

But do take care of yourself. Don't trust strangers. Doing a ritual naked is powerful, but you should do it only with people you know and trust. "In perfect love and perfect trust", the Witches' Rede advises. Blessed be! HD |

"The Tree" not a new book. It was first published back in 1973-74, and I believe it was pulled from print sometime last year. It was REISSUED last month to celebrate its 30th anniversay, under the name of "Buckland's Book of Saxon Witchcraft". BTW, Seax-Wica is not specifically a solitary tradition. It is technically coven based, but is one of the first to acknowledge solitary practitioners. But thank you so much for making my fellow Seax-Wicans, and myself look like complete idiots. |

| Comments: | Plz tell me this is a big fat joke. I don't mean to be rude but you have given me a good laugh. For one, Yule did not come from the Christians. Two even though I cannot stand the women it is Silver Ravenwolf, not Raven silverwolf. Three I have never in my life heard of candles that help envoke candy. You can buy candy at the store like normal people do. Forth, You do not put coke in a chalice during a ritual. Also, not everycolor candle is going to bring money towards you, and if you are that worried about money you must rely on spells you may want to consider getting a job. It is one thing to wish for money, but if you keep praying and praying for it, you will be like that one friend no one lends money to. Another thing, I would be ware of gifts from fairies, for they are usually up to no good. |

Even though its not on any calander, every year you should take part in the High Hunt. It is a beautifull celebration in which we hunt down a white stag/bear/unicorn/human. The hunt must last at least two days and at the end of it the hunt leader must eat the heart of the prey. The blood of the innocent life is what appeases the Dark Faeries and keeps them from decimating humanity for another year. Untill you participate in a High Hunt you can never be considered a true pagan. |

Wait, wait, wait. Is this aimed at me? Surely you don't think I liked your faery page. First of all, going by mythology, faeries reside in Tir Nan Og, not the astral. I highly doubt faeries will give you gifts. They're mischievous buggers that at best will just intentionally get you lost. Read up on red caps, will o' the wisps and changelings. Plus, your red on green on red doesn't make your page any easier to read. I have to highlight the entire page just to be able to read it. |

| Comments: | I really, really hope this is a joke. I suggest you actually read a book on the *sabbats,* not the sabbaths. Your love spell is so unethical you should be slapped. It's okay to perform a love spell on someone because deep down inside you know they really love you? Where did you get the idea that a woman could masturbate with a candle during the spell? You said that no one practices skyclad anymore except Satanists and perverts, yet you confessed that you were 'initiated' skyclad. By your logic, you're a pervert. The pentacle/pentagram was originally a Christian symbol, the athame was never used to scare away Christians and it sure as hell wouldn't be used to scare away demons now. Do you honestly think a demon, a being with awesome powers is going to look at a tiny knife (or even a sword) and feel scared or threatened? S/he's going to laugh in your face and have a nice meal of fluffy entrails. And then there's the faery page!
Ugh, I could spend days pointing out the things wrong with this site, but it would be a waste of breath. You'd only say that I don't understand and you paid for your initiation, so you're a greater witch than I. One day, I hope you realize how rediculous this site is. |

| Comments: | Hi Willow,
Please tell me this site is a joke! I would love to know where you are getting your information because every bit of information on your site is completely wrong. I really hope those that stated they tried your Familiar Spell are joking, or they are just as unknowledgeable as you. (Sorry for the big words...I'm trying to be as nice about this as possible.) If you really did take a class, I strongly urge you to get your money back...for the class that you took was a fake. AND, you should never do ANYTHING that makes you feel uncomfortable...such as getting undressed in front of a stranger. That right there shows that the class wasn't for real. You really need to go to a library or a bookstore...or even look up Paganism/Wicca online. There are tons of sites out there that correctly portray what Wicca is. In order to practice a religion, you need to understand it. I'm really hoping all the teens and beginners don't acually follow your advice. Your site is NOT what Wicca is. Please, for your sake and for others who visit your site, do some research. If you genuinly want to practice the craft, you'll learn as much as you can...and then you'll learn more. People are saying your site is a joke for a reason. Please listen. One day you may just get sued by someone who actually does try your Familiar Spell. Just do some research and you'll find your way. |

The important news is that 2 new sections are going on the site. The first is my training pages. I've had lots of mails from people who are interested in learning more about the craft, and so it's part of my responsibility as a H.Ps to do my bit for the future of the craft of the wise by passing on my knowledge and experience : ) Secondly, I'm having a forum!! That should be great fun : ) On a serious note, I'm picking up though the medium of the Tarot, that some people think my site is a bit of a joke, and that I'm not a real/serious wiccan. I'd just like to take this opportunity to make it clear that I am a genuine wiccan and I take my beliefs very seriously. Happy candlemass one and all! : ) Willow x |

May I first commend you on your droll use of satire throughout your site. Secondly, as I am young and new myself, I have some questions, and you seem like the one who can answer them for me. I have been told I am quite bright for my age but some things are harder to absorb than others. I read that you were initiated naked, because it wouldn’t be real otherwise…then you said that only perverts and Satanists go skyclad…which are you? And about the broom, I have heard that real witches can actually fly, if they concentrate hard enough on the will to do so. I think this would be exciting. Have you managed it? I did a spell the other day, there is a boy at my school who is often very nasty to me, and I just wanted him to be my friend. I didn’t have a pink candle though, just a red one and a black one. Do you think he will want to sleep with me now? Or will he be arrested for molesting goats? Also, like Miles, I attempted your Familiar Spell. I couldn’t get into our zoo though, the security was too good. Instead I had to break into a dog shelter. I opened up all the cages like you said and sat in the middle of the complex, which was a dark room. Unfortunately I was in the freezer where they put the dead dogs before they incinerate them, so on top of being arrested for break and enter, having a criminal record before I am 18, and being bitten by a rabid dog, I also have a dead Labrador as my familiar. It looks a bit dumb. How do I get rid of it? Thankyou for your time. Bright Blessings of Happy, Frolicking Kittens under the Harvest Moon, your Witch Sister, Raven Loki Nightmancyr Star. xoxo |

| Comments: | Dear Willow,
I am writing you this letter thanks to my sister who's currently sitting by my bedside as I tell her what to write. I woke up 3 days ago, I'd been in a coma and I was at the hospital. Just a few hours ago I found out how I'd gotten there and then I remembered it all. I'd been looking at your site and decided to try the familiar finding ritual. (the one about animal companions I mean;-) Well I got to the zoo, and it was midnight, and I opened all the cages. and I took my time to find the middle of the zoo. and I sat down. and I started the spell. but I never finished. The next thing I remember is waking up in the hospital. Both my arms had been broken by an elephant that had attacked me when she saw my candle. So now I'm in a whole lot of trouble. one of the lions killed a zookeeper and 3 people's houses were destroyed by the gorillas and the monkeys. My dad's lawyer says that We have a strong case against you, so this is just a letter I'm supposed to write before everything actually happens. My family is suing you to cover all of my hospital bills and trial costs too. If I go to jail you'll also be charged by the year. Because my father ssays your site is for idiots and wicca is evil too. I really do hope I get sent to military school instead of jail, that would be better. PS. Expect your infernal website to be taken down shortly you satanic strumpet. Sincerely Alfred Jones II. |

My name's Jon and am a practicing white witch in the UK. I read your intro page with some reservations about your initiation. You say you were nervous about being naked with a stranger? Who the hell was this person? I've been involved in rituals for years and know that we NEVER initiate new members whilst being naked. It's just common protocol to make newcomers as comfortable as possible. I just hope you're not part of anything where you feel you are being forced to do things against your free will. All my best wishes from the Order of 5 coven, England. Jon. |
