I have such fond memories from having lived in the country. When things get me down, I close my eyes and take myself back to "my happy place" -- Winnsboro!

| Comments: | Thanks so much for a very informative website for Winnsboro. I graduated in 1973 from Winnsboro High and still have fond memories of the area. I now live in Missouri and was looking for a website for the Winnsboro News. I have a suggestion. When I was in my senior year and we wanted to build some new building we had the people vote in the places we wanted to rebuild. I know you now just need to make the schools somewhat larger. So pick a busy day at the schools you want to enlarge and have the voters vote where they get run over by school students and they might like to see it enlarged. It worked 30 years ago and we were able to build a new band hall, junior high cafeteria and high school gym. I will be watching to see what happens.
