My first one is now 12 and has health problems, my second one is now 4, I got him when my 5 yr old black sheltie, I had to put down due to kidney failure. And I joined a sheltie rescue to foster and ended up adopting one. Like they say you can't have just one !!!....They are the best kind of dog I ever had. |

| Comments: | Gail, you probably do not remember me, but I finished Tull-E-Ho Desiree O'Barwood (Desi)back in about 1976. I belonged to the Nashville Shetland Sheepdog club and when I saw your dog's pictures, I recognized you & your dogs immediately and also that they were of John Gaskins breeding. It has been about 11 yrs since I have had a Sheltie. Now that I live alone and am gone 12hrs a day, it is impossible to own one now. I do intend to Rescue a Sheltie after I retire which is very far away. |

| Comments: | Hello! I'm Petey's "mom". I just want to thank you for your thoughts and prayers for Pete. We went to Cornell yesterday for another treatment. He received a dose of Vincristine and is having a rather bad day today. He's pretty lethargic. I understand that's quite a nasty drug. I so appreciate your writing to me. Many people don't understand our desire to help this little guy. "It's just a dog" is quite a common phrase I've been hearing. They haven't had the blessing of living with him though. We live in the Upper Michigan and have a love for the dogs, I dont feel that we would bread the dogs for resale. We want to just have a mate for our little guy. Do you know where we might be able to find a female? |

| Comments: | I live in a tiny apartment now, but I grew up in the Upper Michigan countryside. I look through your pages and am back with my dear "brother." Figaro was of champion stock, but my parents chose to keep him as a working dog-- to take care of me! He made sure I didn't stray from our property when I was a toddler; later he was a strict chaperone for a teenager with eager boyfriends. Brains, beauty, radiant health. He sired countless semi-somethings, but never recognized his responsibilities. I was his progeny! 18 glorious years. Thanks for the wonderful show. Lily |

He has one blue eye and one brown eye. We are not going to breed him, he is our pet, but I think it would be wonderful to be able to breed healthy, beautiful shelties. Maybe one day...

| Comments: | Hi I'm currently looking for a new Sheltie. My Chelsea has developed some serious health problems and don't expect her to be around much longer. I've been looking for about a month and past up numerous pups. They just didn't have that look that I'm use to seeing in my Chelseas Eyes. But when I found your web site I fell in love with your pups and Winterlace is beautiful. I just hope we're close enough to get together. I live in Michigan. I'm also willing to wait if needed for her next litter. Hope to hear from you soon, and I hope you live close.

| Comments: | You have really worked hard on this! Beautiful photos for the most part, but why cover up the face in the clown photo?
The only suggestions I have are these: On the puppy page (I think that's the one), you have "(pts)" after one of the dog's names (I can't remember which). I know it's intended to mean that he's pointed, but "pts" is commonly understood by vet, rescue, pound and shelter folks to mean, "put to sleep." You might want to spell out "pointed," instead of using "pts." The links icons on the birthday page look like sperm to me! I know I just have a dirty mind, and you may want to leave them as is, just for fun, but I'm probably not the only one who gets a jolt out of them. Great work on the site! |
